Zenos Working on E10 and Other Future Vehicles
|   Thursday, February 06, 2014
The latest Zenos E11 promises to provide raw performance, very different than what their E10 currently offers. Zenos Co Founder Ansar Ali has confirmed working on a radical design, even though their E10 will make a formal debut fall 2016. This vehicle is expected to sport a price tag above £24,995, which should be the E10's starting price. As of now, we have been informed of a Ford engine powering the E10, although future vehicles could draw power from in house engine blocks.

Every engine option is Euro 6 complaint, which means they are refined and powerful to a certain extent. Considering its light weight external frame and chassis structure, power displacement is high, resulting in decent power to weight ratio. A six speed dual clutch transmission system is expected with this power train, although its origin is yet to be formally announced.

Beneath the bonnet lies a 2.0 liter petrol Ford Duratec engine block, displacing 197 BHP. The E10 is described as a track oriented design, even though many consider it to be a classic example of a street legal race car. Ariel Atom, Caterham Seven and KTM X Bow provide steady competition to this vehicle, although various technical specifications distinguish between these vehicles.

The Zenos E10 was unveiled at the Auto Sport International show late last month and has earned significant fan following owing to one of a kind design and characteristic features. Zenos says that their E11 will make best use of a light weight platform and chassis, currently used on their E10. Aluminum and carbon fiber has been used in considerable quantities to produce a light weight effect.

Zenos is also thinking about working on an E12 Coupe, which could be launched in 2018. In other words, the future holds interesting vehicles from Zenos. We are waiting to get behind the wheel of the Z10 to determine its actual capabilities on road as well as on track. Prototypes are currently unavailable, although we have been promised a test drive soon. Stay tuned as we will get you the details as soon as we get hold of the proto type E10.

On the exterior front, it resembles any other street legal race car. It is highly aerodynamic and has a visible cockpit. The makers have done away with most luxury parameters in order to keep weight at a minimum level. However, optional features on this vehicle include Satellite Navigation, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Traction Control, Drive Assistance etc are also in place to enhance driving.

The E10 is currently in the final stages of production, following which we will get to see a formal unveiling. Teaser images were shown a few months back, post which, potential customers across all age groups have gone berserk. Deliveries should start early next year, as tests major are still underway.
