Yeti - New Compact SUV from Skoda
|   Wednesday, August 14, 2013
The cheaper alternative for an SUV, Skoda Yeti, is indeed a great deal. One can easily tell it's totally worth the money. A bit changed in appearance than the previous model, the new Skoda Yeti looks just a bit more angry and, of course, swift. Although you cannot really say that it's got the looks to impress, the new version will be available both for city and off road use which is an enormous plus for the company. The exterior design of the two versions keeps the same neat, simple line but they were added new headlights, new tailgate, redesigned grille and, even alloy wheel options or, if you would like a surprise, please note that this new vehicle is also equipped with a rear view camera.
That is indeed a novelty for the Yeti SUV. We would say quite a lot of options for its price range!

The bumpers for the city version are colored in the same shade as the entire vehicle while the off road version has the same features in black plastic. The elements that remain the same are the underpinning and the rear seats with VarioFlex system. Another surprisingly good news from Skoda is that the new Yeti will be produced in seven engine types: four 2.0 liter diesel and three petrol 1.2 TSI. All updated, the gearbox will be available in six speed manual or seven speed dual clutch transmission.

The interior has been designed as comfy as possible and, after some tests have been run, the conclusion was that the road bumps are almost undetectable. There is plenty of room in the rear part of the vehicle, it seems that it has indeed been designed for three people. This is exactly the feature that makes it very useful when it comes to long journeys. The safety features have not been forgotten either and as many of the customers already know, Skoda has made the reputation of being really careful and serious when it comes to safety, therefore, 2013 Yeti has already been ranked in the top of the safest cars. Equipped with a set of six air bags, Skoda Yeti has an incredible stability control divided between the front and side curtain airbags.

An affordable, yet, practical an economical SUV, this new vehicle will surely be very popular among the Skoda customers as the two wheel drive versions are correct choices when making a comparison product- price. Also, we must add the fact that the older versions of Yeti are still of great value on the second hand market, making this new model a sum of all the qualities offered by previous versions plus new and improved ones. The latest technology features have also been included on Skoda Yeti: Bluetooth connectivity, air conditioning, parking sensors, MP3 player socket and electric windows make it an up to date car that indeed make a fair impression among other SUV models belonging to the same price range, or, what is more, even remark as best in class SUV model.
