Volkswagen announces the prices of the 2013 Golf

Volkswagen Motors has already announced the prices of the all new 2013 Volkswagen Golf GT3. The vehicle is set to be priced around 16,330 Pounds – 24,625 Pounds depending upon the engine capacity of the engines and the 2.0 liter TDI diesel topper will be available for the top end price.

Volkswagen recently unveiled the detailed specifications of the Mk7 Golf GTI and the three and five door models of the vehicle were showcased recently at the Paris International motor Show 2012.
The Golf GTI goes on sale with the advanced Blue motion sensor technology and four distinct petrol and two diesel options are available on the machine.

Saving fuel is the primary motto of the engineers designing the new Mk 7 platform and oil saving measures has been installed in this model as a standard. The 1.2 liter petrol TSI engine – the lowest in the grade – produces 84 BHP and this is equipped with DSG and is in a five door form.
The next in line model features a larger 1.4 liter petrol TSI engine. This vehicle starts form 17,501 Pounds and sports an Active Cylinder technology. These systems tend to improve the fuel efficiency on the engine by a huge margin.

Overall, the new Mk 7 Golf GTI is a great innovation and its high performance along with high fuel efficiency and low Co2 emission helps the vehicle remain popular with the masses. The Golf was always considered to be a performance hatch back and the vehicle ahs kept true to its heritage by being one of the most fuel efficient vehicles of all time.

Volkswagen claims that the Golf GTI returns 60 mpg on the combined platform and the vehicle being a hybrid saves up on a lot of fuel. The diesel models are priced between 18,995 Pounds – 21,305 Pounds depending on the engine displacement and efficiency and the 2.0 liter diesel engine produces 148 BHP.

The base models of the Golf GTI come with seven base airbags and a lot of additional weight is on the new vehicles as they are high on safety. The Golf GTI features a six speed automatic and seven speed manual DSG transmission and this depends on the model.

The Golf GTI has received a lot of modifications, both interior and exterior and the vehicle has the presence of tinted glass, 16 point audio system, GPS, Bluetooth and WI-FI connectivity. The other features on the vehicle include a traction control, braking assistance and stiff suspension and this is perfect for cornering on a vehicle.

The Golf feels quite stable on the road and is great for cruising. The engine feels all charged up when revved and the vehicle prays to be pressed higher on. The highly refined engine on the Golf GTI is easy to ride and the smoothness of the vehicle makes it a great vehicle to be used on the highway. The Golf is perfect for driving in the city and its transmission is optimized for full throttle and control.
