Vauxhall is proud to launch the new Insignia Country Tourer
|   Monday, September 23, 2013
Insignia Country Tourer seems to be the latest vehicle which is going to be added to the series released by Vauxhall. An important competitor of audi A4 Allroad and VW Passat Alltrack, the upcoming vehicle from Vauxhall is going to be available on the market with a starting price of £25,349. This price could actually transform it into a favorite as it is definitely cheaper than the already mentioned competitors.

Although the models will be equipped with all wheel drive as a standard version, Insignia Country Tourer has actually been confirmed a Sports Tourer and it pretty much includes several features which have been seen in the most practical SUVs such a Skoda Octavia Scout or Peugeot 508 RXH.

Available with two trim levels, the price range for the new Insignia country Tourer is going to be in the range between £25,349 and £29,709.

Of course, all the drivers interested to acquire the upcoming vehicle from Vauxhall should also be happy to know that the standard version is going to feature a lot of interesting options and hi tech characteristics such as 8 inch touchscreen, touch pad controller but it will also include an incredible 8 inch digital instrument.
What is even more interesting, the bi-xenon lighting is going to offer a contemporary appearance to the vehicle and will also be featured by the rear parking sensors and power tailgate.

Of course, the vehicle is going to be available in two engine versions. One of them is going to be the 2.0 liter BiTurbo CSTi version which is going to be able to develop 193bhp and 400Nm of torque. The other version available is the 2.0 liter CDTi engine one which will be able to develop 163bhp. As expected, the more powerful version is going to include the six speed automatic transmission and the other one will be matched with a six speed manual.

The Country Tourer would like to be released as a total different vehicle. This strategy has been chosen by the company in order to revive the overall Vauxhall concepts.

In order to do so but also to preserve some of the already traditional, yet famous, features provided by Vauxhall, the company has included a couple of modified, upgraded characteristics such as a quite wide and deeper front grille and a protection for the underbody which is going to start in the front and finish by the rear.
In order to obtain a rougher look, the Insignia Country Tourer is going to receive a cladding right on the side sills and all around the wheel arches.

Due to the fact that the four wheel drive system is going to be electronically controlled, the torque is quite likely to be variable between the rear and front axles. This will actually guarantee the maximum of traction that the vehicle can actually reach no matter if on road or off road. The update technology should be able to allow this.

More impressive, in order to save fuel the system might also be programmed to switch between the front wheel drive to four wheel drive so all the drivers interested in fuel economy should admire this initiative.
