Two new car launches declared by General motors

Despite of sluggish market in automobile industry, the head of General motors' have declared to launch two new cars by the end of this year. The reason for sluggish market is due to soaring petrol prices and high interest rates. During the month of September and October, The General Motors have got plans to launch the new Chevrolet. Even by the end of this year, the organization will launch a new multi purpose vehicle. This has been said by the Vice president of the company named as P Balendran.


Once of the show room in Kerala have shown the previous showroom price of the vehicle as Rs 13.96 lakh. The vehicle is named as Chevrolet Cruze. This price range is for the car with the cheapest range. But the price of this car with more features goes up to 14.89 lakh.With ist more varients the price goes up to 15.80. One of the members of General motors' also claimed that Chevrolet Cruze has received wonderful response from various customers across the world. The craze of owning this car has been in the mind of each individuals starting from its launching date, 2009. Thus the organization also expects a new member from the family of Chevrolet Cruze which will be launched in the same year.

Even before its launch, the owners are expecting a sales and competition of the same in its segment. As per the recent report, company is taking the opportunity to sale 800 vehicles in a month. This is a real success for an automobile company. The company is making a selective speculation to laugh the vehicle in specific segment of the market. As per the statement of the Vice President, the company had invested an amount of 5000 crores in Indian market. The company also have employed an approximate number of 4,500 staff members in the cities like Gurgaon, Bangalore, Halol, and Talegaon etc.

The capacity of its one of the major plant located in Gujarat would be efficient to handle 85,000 units in a year. Since the plan of GM in Indian market is to launch light vehicles for commercial use, there will be an expansion in plant capacity. The workers are working really hard to increase the plant capacity. As per the assumption, the capacity of the plant will be increased to an output level of 1, 10,000 units. This would be a biggest hit and good news for all the car dealers and customers in Indian market.

Recent news also states that one of the hatchback models of car launched by GM will be commercially rolled out by July this year. This has been stated by the Vice president of General motors' in 11th auto expo in New Delhi. Since people are looking out for diesel cars, according to his views, both the car which will be launched by this year will be available on petrol and diesel engines. Thus, people will not have to think about the price rise in petrol. Even the price range of the car would be really competitive in the market.
