Two generations of Rogue to be sold together following rise in sales
|   Thursday, October 03, 2013
Nissan is going to be launching a new second generation Rogue. The new car is going to be including a number of great features, and it is going to be an improvement on already existing first generation Rogue. However, this in no case indicates that there is any need or urge from manufacturer's side to eradicate manufacturing and sale of first generation of the car. It is exceptionally just the opposite, as Nissan is very proud of Rogue, the old model.

More often than not, a new generation car drives the older model out from market. There is a sudden urge amongst the manufacturers and distributors to sell remaining units of old model so as to make space for new release. With the Nissan Rogue, manufacturer is willing to keep on producing car as it is immensely popular, and they believe that releasing a second generation of car is not going to affect sales of first generation models of the car.

Nissan's customer base for their most popular car is very loyal. They are in love with all great features and specification provided by first generation model. The loyalty, however, should not be misinterpreted to eliminate all places for a new release, as everyone is very keen to see the changes and updates that are going to be offered in second generation of Nissan's latest car.

Decision of the company to keep on producing older model of car is only temporary. The news does not mean that they are going to endlessly manufacture first generation Nissan Rogue till eternity as a company, but it is only going to continue till immense popularity of the car exists. Authorities from company have confirmed this news and there has been a ripple of both positive as well as negative feedback amongst different car enthusiast across the world.

There is going to be a change in name of the older model of Rogue and it is now going to be known as Rogue select. Nothing but price of this car is going to change, still remaining under 20,000 dollars. There is going to be a minimum difference of 3000 dollars in the price between two generations of same cars that are going to be available. New second generation rogue is going to be released sometime in November this year, while new batch of Rogue Select is going to be made available sometime in January of next year.

The final prices of both cars are yet to be decided. Additional features and options are not yet tagged with prices and thus final price remains uncertainty, but whatever be the price, it is always going to be affordable. That is one speciality of this automobile manufacturing brand. Two different generations of the car are going to be manufactured at two different parts of the earth, which is an attempt to avoid confusion. The main reason behind Nissan's decision to continue producing the first generation Rogue is the rise in sales figures of the car in August.
