Toyota Vios to finally release in almost all parts of the world
|   Tuesday, March 10, 2015
Contrary to other popular brands such as Honda or Hyundai, Toyota has been nonexistent in the C-segment category in spite of other automakers reaping profits. However, Toyota has finally decided to put its past where it belongs and bring Toyota Vios into the highly competitive automobile market. This vehicle has been designed keeping in mind the tastes and preferences of the South Eastern market. How will it fare against its competitors? We don't know yet, but are certainly hopeful for the best.

The Vios shares its platform with Toyota's Etios, which is an entry level Sedan. Still, the new Vios will have slightly larger dimensions than that of its own platform model. This car measures 4,410 mm in length and around 1,700 mm wider than Etios itself. The wheelbase will remain same, but the height of this vehicle will not be as much as Etios sedan. Demand for C-segment sedans are quite high in the market, and Toyota plans to get a huge chunk of it on their side with this release.

The Vios flaunts a twin slat grille with Toyota emblem placed in the centre. Headlights are far aligned to each side that makes front of this car look more aggressive and resembles somewhat to a prototype model. The back side too has a modernised edge that reflects the automakers desire to create an impact in the competitive market.

While daytime lamps were not running, it was clear that it received a replacement that is more close to its fog lamps. Toyota is unlikely to compromise of any of its interior features and comfort elements and maintain the same standard that people have come to expect.

Toyota Vios will launch in some parts around the end of 2015, but since Toyota Vios is already available in South East Asia like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines.

All over the world, Vios comes powered by a 1.3 litre and 1.5 litre petrol engines, but for the very first time they might introduce a diesel variant as well. There will be options to choose between both automatic and manual transmission systems for the petrol variant, while for the diesel version, it would only come with manual transmission. As far as fuel economy is concerned, a Toyota official has said "our Vios would have world class fuel economy and performance that will give swift competition in the automobile world". There is a price comparison site in Philippines that so far has best technology and price comparison rates. You can visit that site at http://ph.priceprice.com/Toyota-Vios-9706/.

It is clear that Toyota has borrowed some styling cues from City or Etios, but due to its change in dimensions those cues are rarely noticeable. Buyers who are very precise about the design they opt for might get some idea, but rest of the buyers or potential customers who intend to purchase this vehicle won't notice that at all. It will compete with models such as Honda City, Volkswagen Vento and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. We'll keep you updated with regular information as soon as it reaches us.
