Top 10 Series Models Presented At 2014 Paris Motor Show

The Paris Motor Show this year is over, so it's time for a quick review of the good stuff we got to see there.

Dokker Stepway Dacia / Dacia Lodgy Stepway
A double premiere with the Dokker and Lodgy models took place, having received a Stepway version. Dacia wants to take advantage of the Sandero Stepway's success, a version that is a highly sought after especially in Western Europe. The two models will have four-wheel drive, but a number of design elements will distinguish them from the normal variants.
The two new versions can be distinguished by chrome shields, ornaments for fog lights and bumper and mirror housings painted in matte shade.

BMW X6
In Paris we had have the first opportunity to see the second generation of the SUV X6 in reality. BMW X6 is offered with three engines, two of which are diesel and the third is a V8 TwinPower Turbo. The second generation BMW X6 SUV retains the four-door coupe line which made ​​it famous. The front is now more aggressive and resembles the new BMW X5.

Ford C-Max and S-Max
At the Ford stand, we saw the new C-Max facelift, and the new generation of the highly acclaimed full-size MPV S-Max. The MPV with seven seats enjoys aesthetic features displayed by the restyled versions of its younger brothers, Fiesta and Focus facelift, as well as the same front grille worn by the new Mondeo. Also from the Mondeo, it takes on the range of engines, platform, and numerous other technologies.

Hyundai i20
Hyundai brought to Paris the next generation of the small class i20. Taller than the current generation, the new Hyundai i20 comes with a new look inspired by the style of other models in the range, and is easily recognized by it trapezoidal grille.

Mazda MX-5
The premiere of the new generation Mazda MX-5 was held in Barcelona, ​​Los Angeles and Tokyo in a special event, but Paris was the official debut of the new roadster from Japan. With a sharp design, the new MX-5 brings SKYACTIV technology for the first time on a rear wheel drive car.

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT
The Mercedes rival for the Porsche 911 is spectacular in terms of design, and is the second model designed entirely by the AMG division. The standard version of the new Mercedes GT provides 462 hp at 6,000 rpm and 600 Nm between 1,600 and 5,000 rpm. Meanwhile, the S model offers 510 hp at 6,250 rpm and 650 Nm between 1,750 and 4,750 rpm.

Opel Corsa
The fifth generation of the Russelsheim brand promised developments both in terms of design and architecture and engine range. It preserved the intensively revised old platform, which makes differences in size almost imperceptible.

Renault Espace
The new Renault Espace remains faithful to the concept which made ​​it famous, and still provides a modular interior that can fit five or seven passengers, depending on the need.

Skoda Fabia
More mature in terms of design the Fabia 3 receives lines reminiscent of its corporation brother, the Polo, with which the new Fabia shares the production platform.

Volkswagen Passat
Passat's generation reached number eight. In addition to that, for the first time we will have a hybrid GTE version and the ability to recharge batteries from a 230V outlet.
