Titan Nissan gets launched in North American's 2015 Detroit Show

The Nissan presents 2016 version of Titan, the full sized pickup truck which got debuted with redesigned look in Detroit Auto Show 2015 in North America recently. Company has decided to release two different versions of this model which are XD and Non XD. First XD came to market and later they will launch Non XD version having lighter duty. In short, Nissan will release two Titan editions with three cabs configurations of two frames size, three beds length and five trims level.


The new Titan will run having a V8 turbo diesel engine or with a developed V8 gasoline engine. Their prime mission is to provide more capable half ton weighing and less costly still providing comfort as compared to other pickups of its class. It has borrowed the frontend parts from

Nissan's other vans and trucks offer double wishbone based front suspension. This model from Nissan has borrowed these features along with few other features like ball steering and more supported solid axles via leaf springs with staggered back dampers. At its rear, the differential measure is 13.5 inches whereas at the front it has 9.5 inches size.

The upcoming Titan from Nissan has a new engine with an amazing 5.0 liter V8 DOHC engine which is developed by developer Cummins. It also has compact armed graphite iron blocks with aluminum heads and central injectors are there. Each cylinder is having four different valves for swift running of the vehicle.
This is a newly built engine which has been developed after duly experiment a lot of needful parts and requirements. It has two variant engines who share around 70% of the component. Especially, the turbo charging plug-ins has huge differences. Plenty of sequential turbo are fitted to it in order to get higher output than before. Its six speeds auto transmission backs up with new diesel running engine.

The Titan's XD version has V8 powered engine which will produce 310 hp and 555 pound ft torque or there may be a similar engine as Ram's new EcoDiesel V offering heavy duty of diesel. Its crew Cab has the capacity to load even more 2000 pounds weight, making it total of 12000 pounds as per Nissan's experts' suggestions.
From a heavy duty diesel vehicle, you can't expect so much of fuel efficiency. But Titan XD has the capacity to save a lot of fuel in comparison to other vehicles of similar class. As per fuel economy tests, it would surpass around 8500 pounds rating in gross weight. So you won't have to spend a lot for the diesel in your Nissan Titan.

Nissan has said in recently held Detroit Auto Show, 2015, that Titan will hit the dealership in late 2015. For the first session, XD form will be available only as commercial and normal dealerships. The Non XD version will be released soon after XD's dealership launches worldwide. It is expected to give strong competition against Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado and Ram 1500 as well. Company is yet to disclose its exact price.
