Time-honored Honda Accord is going to be released in a new version
|   Monday, September 30, 2013
Accord is among the longest established Honda Models as it has been launched in 1976 and the 2014 model actually represents the ninth generation. However, the Honda Accord has been enhanced ever since the debut and every model has brought new options and elements, always keeping up with the latest technologies and systems.

Compared with its predecessor the 2014 Honda Accord does not really feature any large scale changes and the enhancements have been mostly made on the interior.
The new LX sedan is going to feature exclusive fabric for the seats and, mainly, the engine figures and exterior design remain just the same as the previously released model.

There are six versions available for the 2014 model: EX-L V-6, EX-L, EX, LX, Sport and Touring and the price range that has been announced can vary between $21,955 and $32,400.

A brand new feature of the 2014 Honda Accord is the fact that the designers have used the roughest steel in order to transform this new model into a very safe, yet, strong vehicle. We can assume that it might actually be the safest Accord released so far. The vehicle's aerodynamics has also been seriously improved as it now features a very sporty appearance.

In order to keep up with the competitors, Honda has equipped the upcoming vehicle with several contemporary accessories and options which have lately become compulsory for every new car. The new Accord is going to include the incredible LED technology for the headlights, daytime running lights as well as a set of brake lights. The front grille remains slightly unchanged, except for the fact that it has now received a chrome strip which resembles a smile. The rear side has been enhanced with a set of exhaust pipes for the V6 model.

The interior of the 2014 model is the somewhat improved interior of the 2013 version except for the fact that the new model is going to include a brand new, exclusive cloth upholstery but only for the Accord LX. For the 2014 model, the customer will be able to choose between leather or cloth in three different shades: Ivory, Black and Gray.

Hi tech features have not been forgotten either, the new vehicle is going to include Pandora internet radio, Honda LaneWatch blind sport display and HondaLink connected car system.

There are two engine versions available for the new Accord: a 4 cylinder direct injected engine with a fuel efficient V6 and a basic 2.4 liter, four cylinder which is able to produce 185 horsepower. The optional 3.5 V6 version is actually an enhanced version which will be able to produce 278 horsepower. The available transmission types could be either six speed manual or CVT.

A competitor of Chevrolet Malibu and Toyota Camry, the 2014 Honda Accord might represent a good option as it is available is different price ranges depending on the options and engine type. The 2014 Honda Accord is definitely a very good choice as it has a lot of power, it has a nice overall appearance and the price is fair enough as it reflects the quality.
