The Show Stoppers at the Geneva Motor Show
|   Monday, March 18, 2013
The Geneva motor show experienced the launch of many cars that were pleasing to the eyes. The grand event had a lot of companies showcasing their best. A lot of competition and hard work has gone in to making this motor show a grand success this year. It experienced the launch of the La Ferrari and the Lamborghini Veneno as well. These cars were long waits for in Europe.

Renault Captur
This car looks a bit cheeky and a little quirky. The size of the car is somewhere between the Nissan Juke and the Qashqai.
The car looks strong and symbolizes the confidence of the company and the producers. It is definitely an eye catcher.

Pininfarina Sergio
This is a limited edition car that has been made as a tribute to the boss of the company who passed away last year. The car has no windscreen which makes it unique. The design is great and it is built in carbon fiber to reduce the weight of the car.

Finally there is a speed monster, from the house of Ferrari that can easily challenge the McLaren on any given day. It is too quick but it may not be a car for the roads. It is better in the tracks. The car may be full of surprises but you still cannot call it perfect.

McLaren P1
This may not be as amusing as the Ferrari but the pedigree of the car cannot be challenged. The car has an adjustable chassis that provides great handling features. There is no doubt that even at a lower speed this car is a special one.

Kia Provo
This car looks like a mixture of the Nissan Juke and a hatchback. It was speculated that there was something badly wrong with this car but somehow everything has fallen in place for this car. No one ever question the reason behind the make of this car which is the biggest success.

Volkswagen Golf GTI
This looked to be the most promising car in this year's motor show. The small car seems to back a lot of power in it. Economy and class is never a doubt with Volkswagen. There was no other car that could be crowned as the car of the year other than the Golf GTI.

Nissan Leaf
This car is a real star. The car's longer version will be produced at the plant at Sunderland at UK. The car needs a lot of help in the production to be made to perfection.

Honda NSX
This car looks muscular, very pleasing to the eyes and lighter in weight. It was overshadowed by the super cars from McLaren and Ferrari otherwise this car has all the potential. People will be eagerly waiting for this car to reach the markets of Europe.

These were the major picks of the Geneva motor show that really looked to create an impact.
