|   Monday, October 22, 2012
The all new fourth generation Renault Clio s here and the vehicle were recently taken out for the first spin around town and the findings were overwhelming. The Clio is a small car with big importance. The Mk 1 and 2 generation of the Clio perfectly fitted the requirements of the people and the Clio 4 hopes to do the same.

The vehicle is perfect in terms of dynamics, proportion and technology and the vehicle has a certain quantity of chic appeal to it that was missing in the Clio Mk3.
The all new fourth generation Clio is here in a bigger and better avatar and the vehicle is here to stay.

On the first look, the Clio looks great. People say that the vehicle looks too big up front while the sides look cramped. However, when viewed from up front, the vehicle looks perfect. Clio features a certain characteristic from Renault and the fourth generation manages to retain it.

The interiors are excellent too and the vehicle features advanced connectivity and technological standards along with a high quality build and finishing work. The materials used on the Clio are top notch and the vehicle is poised to take on the challenge offered by the market.

The visual aesthetics of the Clio match its prowess and technical advancements and this vehicle is set for the current market condition. The Clio is meant for the youth and is a perfect driver's vehicle. The car has a top speed of 113 mph and accelerates from 0 – 60 mph in less than 12.2 seconds.

With fuel economy figures of 62.8 mpg, the Clio is one of the most fuel efficient vehicles to have been launched this year. The Clio is powered by an 898 cc, petrol turbo charged engine displacing 89 BHP @ 5,000 RPM and 100 ft lb of torque @ 2,500 RPM.

Maximum torque production is in the range of 2,000 – 5,000 RPM and the vehicle is quite fast considering its size. The Clio had been put through the wind channels to improve the vehicle's aerodynamics. The Clio uses a five speed manual transmission and this channels the power effectively to the axle of this front wheel drive vehicle.

The Renault Clio has a magnificent handling ability and the vehicle is perfect for city roads. The torque generation is enough to control the vehicle in traffic as well as make for a decent cruiser on the freeways.
Comparing the vehicle to the Fiesta, the Clio Renault Sport is in a league of its own and hence is better than the Fiesta in all aspects. The Clio is not a boring vehicle that people take to office anymore and the great drivability of the vehicle is at par with the Jetta or the Golf, although the vehicles cannot really be compared.

Therefore, if you are looking forward to getting a vehicle next year, the Clio is the perfect vehicle that you can get. The Clio Renault Sport is a great first vehicle that you can own.
