The first spy photos of the new crossover SEAT
|   Friday, August 05, 2016
After launching Ateca, Seat shows no signs of stopping, once entered on the SUV market. The company is now preparing a subcompact crossover, which is in an advanced stage of development and has already been surprised in disguise on the streets.

The model will be launched in the near future, and these photos captured by Motor1.com reveal how close it is to its launch.
It is hard to distinguish the forms under camouflage, except for the general line of the model.
In these images, the model has very low ground clearance. If it will not be slightly raised for the launch, it is clear that the model can only be used for routes with minimal obstructions. However, most models in this segment are not designed for uneven roads; their lower part is higher due to aesthetic reasons and functionality in town, their usefulness is minimal on rough terrain.

The new subcompact crossover will be based on the Seat Ibiza model and positioned below the manufacturer's range Ateca. It will also borrow design elements from the new Ibiza, to be launched at the Geneva Motor Show next year. Crossover will appear several months later, probably at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

What do we know so far about the new Seat? It will use a brief version of the Volkswagen MQB platform; it will have standard front wheel drive (although, according to rumors, for more powerful engine all-wheel drive will be provided).
