The 2013 Ford Mustang GT to be designed by women
|   Monday, May 28, 2012
You remember about the 2013 Ford Mustang GT that was to be manufactured and designed by a group of females and it was to be displayed at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show this year? If you have forgotten then don't worry, let me remind you again. There is more news about this project. The team was submitted 3 final new designs for the car that are to be voted by people and this voting will take place till 3rd June.

This project is been managed under the supervision of SEMA and Ford.
The SBN will be leading the project. It has been decided that the design that will be voted the most will be taken to make the new 2013 Ford Mustang by these ladies.

This project will be a women dominating project and it is meant to encourage women to become a part of the automotive industry. These 3 designs will be developed by the professional female designers and the support of other female volunteers will also be welcomed. In this way, more and more females will start to take interest in developing their careers in this industry.

These are the 3 designs that have finally being submitted:
Fast Metal
High Gear
Chromatic

Let me tell you what specifications each of these models have. The Fast Metal design has been presented and deliberated by Theresa Contreras. It has a double tone finish which is meant to highlight the performance of the new Mustang.

Moving on to the High Gear design, it was the effort of Ford's worker Jennifer Seely and a member of the SEMA Businesses women's network. This is a luxury concept which has taken inspiration from female accessories, clothing and fashion.

Last but not the least is the Chromatic design. It has also been designed by Jennifer Seely. It reflects the pony car culture. Street art is dominant in its design and features. It has been taken inspiration from pop culture.

It must be said here that the new 2013 Ford Mustang will be designed just for women. Though Mustang is not usually a female car but as mentioned above there are certain aims behind the fact why Ford has encouraged women to design a Mustang. These women surely will be the pioneers in attracting females from all over the world to work in automotive industry. The best thing is that they are not going to make flowers on the car! These cars will be meant for females but with a different design. That will be a change for sure which will be representing effort of every female.

Once the car is completed, it will be displayed at the 2012's SEMA show that will going to be held on 30th October in LV. After this, it will be auctioned at eBay in order to raise funds for SEMA scholarship program. Females all over the world are excited to see this car and they are fully supporting this team of females. Really this idea seems to be incredible, also new Mustang looks more preety now.
