Suzuki Showcases the Limited Edition Swift Sport SZ
|   Saturday, March 30, 2013
The all new Suzuki Swift Sport SZ is a fantastic vehicle due to a variety of factors which distinguish it from other vehicles in its segment. The simplicity of the purchasing process is one such measure which distinguishes this vehicle from its market competitors. Priced at £13,749, the Swift Sport SZ includes various modification kits and a basic paint scheme modification package, all included in the cover price of the vehicle.

However, the Swift Sport SZ has been designed for the customers who do not like to keep things simple.
The vehicle is a mean machine and features some of the meanest and most aggressive features in the segment in the market at the moment. Suzuki also plans on manufacturing just 100 units of the SZ R model of the Swift, which are expected to be available in the market fall 2014.

The SZ R will be available for an extra £500 and this provides just an additional kit for the vehicle. The engine and chassis do not feature any difference and the cosmetic upgrades present on the inside and the exterior are the distinguishing factor.

The Swift Sport SZ comes in a matt black and vibrant red paint scheme and this distinguishes the vehicle from the standard Swift. The door mirrors, spoiler, roof lining and carpet mats feature similar paint scheme and this makes the vehicle individually numbered and unique. However, the level of customization cannot be compared to what Mini has on offer although it does make this vehicle funkier than its predecessor. However, these modifications do not enhance the drive ability of the vehicle and this is a major setback to the vehicle.

However, the original engine of the Swift is almost perfectly suited to this vehicle as well and the Suzuki Swift was known for its performance and agility. Therefore, use of the same engine should not be problematic. The chassis and suspension settings are been done carefully and this means optimum level of calibration for the vehicle.

The Swift Sport SZ is a pleasure to drive and the machine is designed and placed potentially to be a huge seller. Increase in power is definitely welcome but Suzuki has showcased no such intention as far as the Swift SZ is concerned. The engine is quite refined and the more it is pushed, the happier it feels. Traction control and stability is high on the vehicle and the old fashioned six speeds manual transmission work wonders for the vehicle.

The level of refinement on the interior is similar to the engine specifications and the Swift Sport SZ offers the best luxury at the price point. Suzuki tests all its vehicles at the Nurburgring test track and the Swift Sport SZ performs quite well in all aspects. 0 – 60 MPH is possible in 8.7 seconds while this vehicle posts a top speed of 121 MPH. Fuel economies of 44.1 MPG is possible on the vehicle and this makes it pure value for money.
