Suzuki Plans on Manufacturing a Nissan Juke Rivaling Model
|   Monday, January 13, 2014
Suzuki is all set to provide tough competition to Nissan in the compact SUV segment as Suzuki plans on introducing a mid range Juke rival in Europe fall 2015. Apart from face lifting the current models, Suzuki also plans on introducing two new models to spice up the segment. The five doors Swift, Splash and the Alto are set to be replaced with better and latest offerings from Suzuki, company insiders have revealed.

A B Segment vehicle is also on the drawing board at Suzuki headquarters and this vehicle could rival the Toyota Verso and the Nissan Note.
The boot space and interior space of this B Segment vehicle will be made according to the market standards while passenger and luggage carrying capacity of the car will increase. Suzuki also plans on sending the G70 Concept into production with the name Regina.

The Juke rivaling model from Suzuki will be manufactured at Suzuki's plant in Hungary along with the likes of current market leader, the SX4. A Nissan Qashqai rivaling model could also be on the cards although the final news regarding this vehicle will be available fall autumn. Although this vehicle will sport the SX4 nameplate, it will not be replacing its larger cousin. The first batch of vehicles is expected to be sent to production by mid 2014 at the earliest, insiders have speculated.

Although the technical specifications of the vehicle are not available at the moment, the engine and drive train is expected to be borrowed from the S Cross. This makes the new vehicle an all wheel drive with both manual and automatic transmission options. Both the Splash and the Alto are on the verge of being taken off the market and the face lifted Swift will be unveiled this year.

Suzuki plans on unveiling a body kit for its vehicles this year and this could play an important part in enhancing the visual aesthetics of the vehicle as well as improve aerodynamics which would in turn aid customer satisfaction and help increase sales. The rugged off road look will be available on the Swift and this is expected to enhance sales.
