Suzuki At 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show
|   Thursday, October 01, 2015
At the 66th edition of the Frankfurt International Motor Show, Suzuki has submitted in world premiere the Baleno model, a compact hatchback which sets new standards in terms of style, equipment and technology.

Benefiting from all the company's experience over the past 60 years in development and production of compact cars the new Baleno comes with a powerful and elegant design, spacious interior and trunk, and is equipped with the latest technologies.

The Baleno model respects the brand's new design language Liquid Flow, which suggests the energy of moving liquid. The sporty and elegant exterior is complemented by a comfortable interior that offers enough space for adults, both at the front and the rear, alongside a 355 liter luggage compartment, a reference in this segment.

For a high level of performance and reliability, the Suzuki Baleno is built on a rigid platform with next-generation ultra-light materials and is equipped with a turbocharged direct injection 1.0-liter BOOSTERJET and SHVS system (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki).
The new Suzuki Baleno will be available on the European market in the spring of 2016.

In June this year, Suzuki Motor Corporation set a new medium-term management plan - SUZUKI NEXT 100, a 5-year plan starting in 2015. To ensure continued growth of the group in the next 100 years, Suzuki will focus its efforts towards strengthening management, designating the next 5 years as a period of stabilization and management foundation.

The new Baleno presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show is the first step to launching 20 new models in the next five years.
To achieve its objectives, Suzuki will launch more than one new model every year on the European market, the aim being to reach a total of 280,000 units sold in the fiscal year 2019. In addition to the launch of new models, Suzuki will introduce a new trim level S, much sportier on the Vitara model, which will contribute to reaching the 205,000 unit threshold, an increase of 5 percent over the previous fiscal year.

Suzuki showed in Frankfurt a new trim level for Vitara. S will be available starting this year on the model launched this spring. With a 1.4-liter BOOSTERJET engine, a front grille inspired by the iV-4 SUV concept, and numerous new elements to the interior, the S equipment level brings even more sporting style to the Vitara model.
S will be top equipping for Vitara and includes, among others, LED headlights, leather seats, RBS (Radar Brake Support), autonomous emergency braking system as standard. It will be available in seven body colors including two bi-tone combinations.

The new Baleno includes three new technologies for greater driving pleasure, fuel efficiency and improved safety: rigid platform from ultra-lightweight materials of the latest generation, a turbo engine with direct injection and the SHVS system (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki).

Furthermore, the 7 inch display's connection with smartphones provides an intuitive operational experience, and is now compatible with Apple CarPlay, a smart and safe way to use your iPhone in the car.
