|   Saturday, September 01, 2012
Subaru has reduced the price on the WRX STI and the car starts from just 28,995 Pounds with this price cut. With the new registration rush in September just round the corner Subaru has made a smart move which will be hard to resist for the car fanatics looking for a powerful car within a certain budget.

With this price cut, the WRX STI has actually become one of most powerful vehicles in this price bracket. Subaru has arranged for an additional finance scheme and this means that you can own a WRX STI today for as low as 300 Pounds per month.

Subaru UK has also come up with a new engine upgrade to make the WRX STI 340 R, the company's flagship model in the United Kingdom. This is a lucrative offer from Subaru and is set to increase sales by a huge margin.
The Impreza WRX STI is already on the wish list of the youngsters and with this new price tag, even the parents will have to agree. The power up is available at an extra payment of 1,950 Pounds and this car is available alongside the Impreza 320 R.

Both the cars were launched this year and the up gradation is available without any damage to the car's warranty. The Impreza WRX STI 340 R boasts of 340 PS of raw power with 490 Nm torque and this is an increase by almost 40 PS over the previous model.

The car accelerates from 0 – 60 mph in just under 4.7 seconds and this is an improvement by 0.5 second over the predeceasing model. The car's gear ratios have been enhanced to increase power output and this means that the acceleration has been increased.

The 340 R also sports enhanced ECU settings and a four cylindered 2.5 liter boxer engine which produces more power. The exhaust system on the car has also been modified and this means a louder more powerful growl from the engine every time the engine is started or pushed.

In fact instead of the horn, the manufacturers could have just amplified the car's exhaust to attain the maximum effect. The 340 R is based on Subaru's advanced all wheel drive technology and this means that the vehicle uses independent front and rear wheel suspension system which holds the entire structure together.

The WRX STI 340 R can be used for small time Street racing which is nothing close to legal but it also has the practicality of a four door sedan and can be used for daily commuting as well. The 340 R is Subaru's most performance oriented vehicle manufactured till date and the company is pretty excited about the prospect that this model holds for the company.

Subaru is also helping customers by setting up a host of easy down payment options and loan facilities and this is also working to the company's advantage. Subaru also has a dedicated line up of after sales servicing and this ensures the customers' complete trust in the brand while purchasing a Subaru.
