|   Saturday, September 27, 2014
Audi's new concept is to be unveiled in November at a motor show in Los Angeles and a aluminum based flagship is to be used to preview it. It is still to get any name because it is still under construction which is expected to be completed by the end of October.

Few reports say that the direction of style which is used in Audi model A1 up to Q7 will be given to new design chief of the company Marc Lichte. The configuration provides initial tacit clue to shape, size, packaging, features and appearance of the large mooted A9 which is a high tech ranger planned to be launched in 2017.

The A9 was conceived to compete against top models providing luxurious ride such as Aston Martin's Rapide, Porsche Panamera and Mercedes Benz's high end production CLS. In the making of A9 there is a large part of the evolutionary MLB platform concept of Audi. It has almost the same composition of mechanics and electrical equipments with the recent sensation fifth generation model A8. At the same time A9 is to be manufactured at Neckarsulm Factory of Audi.

As usual it will have four doors but a new coupe cum saloon flagship will be there which will have best quality aluminum space frame structure. This will reduce its extra weight for sure but they have also equipped few other initiatives which can be counted as weight reducing factors such as carbon fiber used in non load holding areas.
The main motto of bringing A9 into market with having a kerb mass comparable against smaller sized model A7, which was launched four years ago having 1660 kg at its base and front wheel having 2.8 V6 structure.

Audi wants to show off its secret power train in newest concepts in the city of Los Angeles. They have confirmed that this will match the making of A9 which supports front wheel driving and also all wheels driving along with A8.

Its engine is planned to provide a four door facility, twin turbo V6 ability with 3.0 liter capacity which is a revised creation from Audi's twin turbo V8 with 4.0 liter capacity. However it's S9 is expected to offer more performance by using a V8 engine with mighty 600 BHP force.

Its petrol engine will also come up with 3.0 liter V6 diesel, electrically maintained twin turbo facility. Also there will be a 4.0 liter, V8 diesel but currently it is under development in R & D working centre of Volkswagen in Braunschweig.

It comes up with twin plug in options to provide hybrid functionalities for A9 e-tron cars. This will be unveiled in the motor show at Detroit during January. Its petrol and diesel electric designs will be released for the first time in next year.

They are ready to launch A9 e-tron having zero emissions enabled electric range which can reach 31 miles and Carbon Dioxide output for less than about 80 g/km. Few auto agencies had come up with few design proposals of A9 which have the latest looks and modern equipments. Audi should be looking around for the best design out of them.
