Steve Wozniak Talks About The Apple Car
|   Wednesday, May 04, 2016
We have the iPhone, iPad, iPod, iWatch, MacBook, MacBook Pro. We have about Apple everything that the famous Steve Jobs envisioned, but it's as if we're missing something. How would the iCar?

Although over the years there have been many rumors which stated that Apple would produce a car, or it is already in production, only now we can say that the rumors are about to materialize, considering the fact that Apple hired engineers who worked at Tesla Motors.

Elon Musk - Tesla Motors CEO - said that the next step that need to be made by Apple, is to build and to release an electric car. Steve Wozniak, the engineer along with which Steve Jobs gave birth to Apple in 1976, which now is a giant on the electronic products market, the engineer who designed and built the Apple I, the first computer signed by Apple, said in an interview hosted by Reddit, that the turmoil in which is the auto industry finds itself in, and especially after the recent scandals, is a suitable period in which Apple can make its appearance on the market with a car signed by them.

Wozniak said that Apple is a huge company which, like all other companies, examines investment opportunities that can bring money. He said it is a moment in which to write and set up the future of cars. Also, the moment of passing from cars with a combustion engine to the electric cars is very close. According to Steve Wozniak, Apple will not attack classically the car market, but will bring improvements to attract their clients.

The car market makes sense for Apple, but the idea would be for the company to give birth to a car that would be desired by all drivers - a car that offers almost everything, to bring pluses which impress the clients and make them want to buy this car. As Steve Jobs always wanted to do the job: wisely.
The recent wave of hiring for Apple's Titan project, which could give rise by 2019 to the first electric vehicle produced by the American company, has triggered new speculation about the future characteristics of cars, which may have electronic license plates, writes CNBC.

An eventual decision by Apple to develop electronic registration plates could generate major changes in registration activities and data processing, concerning cars circulating on the roads in the US, and would facilitate renewing procedures for plates that have expired.
Moreover, the technology would contribute to the full automation of vignettes and parking meters, as well as the development of car-sharing programs.
Among the biggest obstacles to the new technologies are the vulnerability to cyber- attacks and the display errors caused by adverse weather or road conditions.

Rumors say that Apple will put the car on sale in 2021. This means that the car should be presented in in 2019 or 2020, and deliveries will start at least one year after the first pre-order registration.
Multiple publications have stated so far that the Apple car has at the moment the deadline set for presentation at 2020 and since over 1000 Apple engineers are working to develop this car, is not hard to believe that in 4 years, Apple will have something to show.
