Spy Images of Porsche's Latest 4x4 Macan Leaked
|   Tuesday, November 05, 2013
Pictures of the next generation Porsche Macan have reportedly been leaked over the internet. What seems to have got the crowds wanting more is that this is rumored to be images of the production ready version of this vehicle. Porsche conveyed their plans of unveiling this car at the upcoming SEMA Show in Los Angeles later in November. These spy images have surfaced in a comparison with this vehicle with Audi's Q5.

Audi has played a major role in dealing with this vehicle as their latest Q5 is based on similar technology and based on similar platforms and architecture.
We have seen images of what could be Porsche's next version of Macan although they were mere renderings of the vehicle. News of leaks spread far and wide although skeptics have termed this as a cheap photoshop job.

Experts were given a walk-through of Porsche's Macan 4 x 4 recently while Porsche teased this vehicle a few weeks ago. This vehicle resembles Range Rover's Evoque quite closely although similarities end there. Porsche has designed this vehicle to take on both BMW's X3 and Land Rover's Evoque in European markets. We have been informed that this vehicle will be powered by a range of V6 engines while a base price of £36,000 has been quoted.

The top of its line turbocharged unit will be powered by a 3.6 liter turbocharged V6 petrol engine displacing 395 BHP along with 406 ft lb of torque. These figures sound encouraging while a range of four cylindered engines have also been setup for Porsche's latest Macan 4 x 4. Porsche has developed successful power trains since its 968 back in 1996 and this powertrain is a refined version of the same.

Its 220 BHP displacing 2.0 liter turbocharged option will feature a top speed of 143 MPH while accelerating from 0 – 60 MPH within 7.5 seconds. Base diesel models will start with a 2.0 liter diesel engine displacing 190 BHP although its top speed is yet to be revealed. Another 3.6 liter 295 BHP displacing 295 BHP is available while a 3.0 liter 250 BHP displacing unit is available as the Diesel S.

Porsche is currently working on a hybrid version of its Macan 4 x 4 although final details are yet to be revealed. Exterior designs are not prominent yet although these images show a defined front grille, head lamp and taillamp design. It is premature to comment on this situation at the moment although we will be keeping you posted about recent developments and news.

Interior details are yet to be unveiled although superior quality is expected. Porsche has a specific sense of refinement which is very clear on the inside and smart work along with clear stitches is in place. We are waiting intently for this vehicle to make an official foray into global markets and all eyes will be set on it later this month. People are waiting for details to be out and the hype is strong.
