The Czechs have revealed the first information about ultra-efficient GreenLine edition of the new generation Skoda Superb. Traditionally, shortly after launching a new model, the Czechs prepare the GreenLine engines for that model, strongly focused towards maximum efficiency in fuel consumption.

In the case of the Superb GreenLine, the Czechs mounted under the hood the 1.6 TDI with 120 hp and coupled with a manual gearbox with 6 steps. Moreover, the gearbox is differently layered compared with other versions, with slightly longer steps.
The start / stop system, brake energy regeneration and catalytic reduction system, SCR - all are present on board of the new Superb GreenLine.

The Skoda Superb will receive a variation Greeline at the Auto Show in Frankfurt.
The ecological version of the Czech model can be ordered for both the sedan body and Combi bodywork. In terms of equipment levels, the Skoda offers this variant of the Superb version along with Actiev, Ambition and Style equipping.

The Superb GreenLine announces a combined consumption of just 3.7 liters per 100 km and CO2 emissions of 95 grams per kilometer. For now, they have announced the different values for the Combi variant of Superb GreenLine. Skoda says that the ecological version has a better fuel consumption due to optimization of 1.6 TDI motorization and the aerodynamics of the car and the new Superb will be able to travel over 1,780 kilometers with a full tank (66 liters of diesel).
In addition, the GreeLine variants have SCR (with AdBlue) to further reduce CO2 emissions.

In order to improve the car's aerodynamics, the Superb GreenLine has a chassis lowered by 15 millimeters and a boot lid spoiler. These changes have enabled a drag coefficient of 0.263 for the sedan and 0.275 for Combi.

The standard version of the Superb GreenLine has 16-inch alloy rims fitted with tires with low rolling resistance, but the model can be ordered with 17-inch alloy rims and equivalent tires. At the aesthetic level, a Superb GreenLine model is distinguished from the standard versions through the "GreenLine" logos located on the boot lid and front grille.

Also, these versions have rear windows with smoked tint fitted as standard, alongside adaptive front fog lights.
Skoda's key elements in their corporate strategy are sustainability and environmental protection. For Skoda models, individual mobility begins at 79 g CO2 / km for city car Skoda Citigo G-TEC powered by natural gas. Along with the newcomer, 33 Skoda models achieve CO2 emissions below 100 g / km; in total 105 Skoda models emit less than 100 g / km and 105 Skoda models emit less than 120 g CO2 / km.

Moreover, compared with the Skoda GreenLine models, the natural gas vehicles are an important milestone in the company's strategy to achieve sustainable products. Skoda offers three attractive G-TEC models: Citigo G-Tec, Octavia G-TEC and Octavia estate G-Tec.
All Skoda models are now available with the latest petrol and diesel engines from the Volkswagen Group, which include stop-start systems and brake energy recovery.
