Rolls-Royce Phantom Bids Farewell By Launching The Zenith Collection
|   Thursday, June 02, 2016
With the announcement of the new Zenith Collection for the Phantom Drophead Coupé and Phantom Coupé models, Rolls-Royce announces the cessation of production in the Phantom family, including the Phantom limo, which will be replaced by a new generation.

The new Phantom will be built on a new platform with aluminum architecture, about which the specialists from Rolls-Royce say it will be used in all the future models. For those who want to remember the two models in a special way, there is the Zenith Collection.

The Phantom family will be taken out of production this year after all 50 copies of the Zenith Collection will be produced. By the way, they have already been sold to collectors and enthusiasts!

We remind you that the 7th, and the current generation Rolls-Royce Phantom was launched on January 1st 2003, and four years later, in 2007, Phantom Drophead Coupe appeared and in 2008 the Phantom Coupe.

After 13 years of existence the current Phantom family says goodbye with the Zenith Collection edition, which aims to raise standards of luxury and exclusivity to the highest level. Each of the 50 copies will be created after the wishes of its customers, but some items will be unchangeable.

Created by Rolls Royce specialists, the models in this series are designed to serve as collector's items. In this way, the models will join the most significant collections of luxury items in the world. These cars have a variety of unique elements, as is traditional for the limited editions.

There is a split tailgate, leather lining used to sit on when you're on a picnic, a glass shelf, which is also part of the tailgate, on which you can serve champagne, and of course a fridge which keeps cool two bottles of champagne and the eight Rolls-Royce glasses.

In addition, customers can complete the outdoor entertainment with an optional picnic set, the Rolls-Royce Picnic Hamper customized so that it fits with materials and preferences from the color palette.
Laser engraving, behind the armrest inside the car, refer to the locations of the previous version's global debut – the 100EX, Drophead Coupe variant, and 101EX for the Coupe.

Also engraved is the identification number of the car, which is in a box of polishing aluminum, located in a drawer in the center of the dashboard. Also inside customers will find a piece of metal from the production line of the current Phantom, located in Goodwood, England, and that will be decommissioned after production of these last copies. The finishing in the cabin is a special one, and is made of stainless steel and passengers have a bit more light in the front seats.

In another line of ideas, there are plenty of leather colors for the front and the rear seats, and the rear passengers will be part of "Starlight Headliner", which means a starry ceiling which offers a special view and a pleasant atmosphere. Zenith Collection Phantom options for the exterior and interior styling are said to have their roots in the historical models of Rolls-Royce, including the Phantom II from 1930, Phantom II Continental from the same year and Phantom Coupe Aviator Collection in 2010.
