Rolls Royce Announces the Launch of the Wraith Coupe Next Month
|   Thursday, February 28, 2013
Rolls Royce has unveiled the first teaser images of the upcoming version of the Ghost Coupe, better known as the Rolls Royce Wraith. Rolls Royce claims that this is going to be the most powerful model in the history of the Ghost lineup and the vehicle is all set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013. Rolls Royce hopes to attract the mass attention of the crowd when the vehicle is unveiled as the Wraith has a lot of potential and is one of the best vehicles to be unveiled this year.

Rolls Royce has gone a few leagues ahead of its time in designing the exterior panels for the Wraith and whether the customers like it or not is a big answer that Rolls Royce has to face. Rolls Royce has been the pinnacle of luxury in the automotive world for the past 10 decades and with the Wraith, the company plans on starting a different league of its own.

Rolls Royce plans that the Wraith will fulfill the purpose of its existence. It is a vehicle designed to sport the perfect balance between luxury, performance and class and has a sense of style, drama and power. The exterior has been carved out in a fantastic way and this proves the efficiency of the designers and engineers in building a vehicle that they consider to be superior and fit for the test.

Rolls Royce had last used the name Wraith back in 1938 and the modern version of the car is not related to the previous model in any way. The all new Wraith uses a 6.6 liter twin turbo V12 petrol engine, displacing 600 BHP and the engine has been massively tuned to displace the mentioned amount of power.

Rolls Royce engines have a different level of refinement and the Wraith is no exception. The wheelbase of the new vehicle has been reduced by 180 mm while the total length of the vehicle is 5200 mm. The total dry weight of the Wraith has been calculated to be 2300 kg and the interior has a lot of leather work designed at making the vehicle stand out in the crowd.

Rolls Royce's famous Phantom Grade Leather has been used in the interior with an open pore wooded finish for the dashboard and the major part of the interior known as Canadel Paneling. Rolls Royce had plans to launch the teaser images of the Wraith prior to its launch and this has been done with a move to keep the hype around the vehicle alive.

The Rolls Royce Wraith could be seen on the 5th of March 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show and the officials are hopeful that the vehicle will perform well in the market. This is the first coupe from the premium segment British car makers in quite a while and a lot of the company's future is riding on the Wraith at the moment. Rolls Royce hopes to see the Wraith in showrooms by the end of the first quarter of 2013.
