Rolls Royce all set to launch the 2013 Ghost at the Concours d'Elegance Pebble Beach

Rolls Royce will make its presence felt at the Concours d'Elegance held at Pebble Beach, San Francisco and Monterey with the launch of the 2013 limited edition Rolls Royce Ghost. The car has been designed intricately and will be launched at this point of time to celebrate Quail, a motor sports event.

Pebble Beach is dotted with breath taking scenery, golf courses, beautiful oceans and beaches and now expensive vehicles from car makers around the globe.
The week end begins with Quail, a motor sports event where the car makers will be showcasing new launches and concept vehicles for the upcoming year.

The 2013 Ghost features an extended wheel base and this car showcases the engineering marvel and designing capabilities of the engineers at Rolls Royce. The car features a two tone external paint scheme and Carrera White over Mazarin Blue looks stunning on this vehicle highlighted by a Mandarin Orange feature line.

The interior of the Ghost is lined by polished stride plates and a poppy theme which is also used in designing the head rests. The leather upholstery used in the car is of sea shell and contrasting navy blue color and the instrument panel is also dual toned which is in contrast to the dash board.

The rear seat is the place to be if you want to relax as the rear ventilated seats with the massage feature offer a very comfortable ride. The 2013 Ghost is equipped with even more luxurious features for the passenger as well as for the driver.

The panorama sunroof has an attached perforated leather head rest attached to it, which was available on previous models of the Phantom and a natural grain leather covering covers the entire instrument panel of the vehicle when not in use.

A clock has been installed in the instrument cluster of the car and this is a new feature of the 2013 Ghost. The hand rests, lower and the upper instrument panels, center palm rest, rear hat tray and the door trim are all covered by a leather cover when not in use.

The car has night vision with face recognition installed in the main frame and this helps the driver at night by applying brakes automatically if the driver is not able to detect the presence of a human in front.
The car features a stiffer suspension system which makes the ride highly comfortable by absorbing most of the vibrations. Ride quality is also top class and nothing less than this is expected off a Rolls Royce.

This car is not suited to the race track and will never be used in one. However, the car's credentials as a street car are beyond questioning. Advanced bookings of the car are set to start in October and the first deliveries can be expected early next year, as claimed by spokespeople from Rolls Royce.

The car will definitely make heads turn at the Concours d'Elegance and Rolls Royce is expecting heavy inquiries regarding the vehicle at Pebble Beach. However, the final fate of the Ghost remains to be seen.
