Reviewing the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4
|   Wednesday, May 07, 2014
Lamborghini's answer to ultra modern sports cars from Ferrari and McLaren is finally ready for launch and we bring you latest inputs from the world of Lamborghini's Huracan LP610-4. This vehicle is based on the Gallardo and sports similar features with its predecessor. This vehicle however, brings a new sense of sportiness and agility along with it, which will definitely attract the rich and sports enthusiasts alike.

Whenever you are behind the wheels of this V10 powered super car, you will feel a heightened sense of urgency.
This does not imply reckless speeding, as the Huracan is high on traction. Once you start up its engine, it comes to life with a loud roar, which reminds you of the actual power house behind this monster. There is a super car kind of racket coming from behind your head rest, every time you put your foot down on gas.

This is a characteristic feature present on every Lamborghini, while the Huracan is not special in this aspect though. When you get this beast in gear, you instantly feel what it is all about. It is great for the freeway, but can be controlled easily within city perimeters too. Lamborghini does not design vehicles for global mass markets. Hence, they do not need to worry about trifles such as fuel efficiency or environment friendliness.

However, stricter laws monitoring CO2 emissions, has forced the Italian car maker, to think about Mother Nature a little bit! Driving the Huracan on road is good, but it feels completely different on track. Some drivers may complain that this car suffers from under steer although it is well balanced, even under pressure. Lamborghini has leaped forward with their Huracan and they definitely need to keep this momentum going forward.

This vehicle has spent a considerable amount of time under the wind tunnel and is an aerodynamic masterpiece. Anti roll bars, electronic steering damper, carbon ceramic brakes and drive mode controls are added as standard. Steering wheel mounted controls enhance quite a few features on this vehicle, such as engine mapping, four wheel drive control, gearbox, traction control and steering.

The interior is well designed and has a 12.3 inch touch screen device placed on its central console. This controls the in house infotainment system, which is much more than the Gallardo ever had. Vision from the driver's seat is much better than its predecessor and this is good news for shorter people. All buttons and controls are near at hand, much like other super cars in range.

Expected to be priced around £180,720, the Lamborghini Huracan is capable of accelerating from 0 – 60 MPH within 3.2 seconds, while reaching top speeds of 202 MPH. These are expected figures, since we were unable to push this vehicle to its limits on track. Average fuel efficiency of 22 MPG has been promised, although we will be lucky to get anything over 20 MPG. Lamborghini has struck gold with this vehicle, which is rather refreshing than what other car makers currently have in range.
