Renault is one of the most well known names in the automobile industry. Over the years they have been producing best in class vehicles and have made a name for themselves in the automobile market. The consistently make some of the most powerful and most luxurious cars of all times.

The concept of Hybrid cars or hybrid power train is comparatively new in the automobile market. Experiments are in this field begun a long time back although not many successful results were found out until quite recently.
In the recent past however, there has been some great new cars from different automobile manufacturing brands of the world that has achieved great fuel economy and also very less emissions using a hybrid power train or an all electric power train.

Renault has also managed to make its mark in this field of the automobile market. Very recently the Renault Twizzy electric city car has been converted into a quasi Formula 1 car by the brand. This car is going to be able to match the fastest cars on road from Renault in terms of speed and pickup.

The transformed Twizy Renault sport F1conceptcar is going to comparable to the Renaultport Megane 265. This means that the new car from Renault will be able to reach speeds of 62 miles per hour starting from 0 miles per hour in a time of just 6 seconds. This car is going to derive the F! Supplied KERS to bring out this kind of speed and performance.

This car is a result of the Renault sport and the Renaultport F1 engineers. They have collaborated to produce this one off concept. This car has some very intriguing and interesting outcomes. This car goes a long way to prove that the basics of F1 cars can also be applied to day to day road cars. This just need a bit of filtration and it is good to go.

The KERS technology that is being used in the new transformed car from Renault is the most impressive and interesting aspect of the car. The KERS system alone weighs in at 30 kg. The big system takes up the place which was earlier occupied by one of the rear seats in the Renault Twizy. This system has been grafted on to the existing electric motor of the car producing 17 bhp.

The KERS goes a long way into preserving energy for further use. Whilst braking, some of the energy was previously lost, which will now be recovered by the KERS system and will be stored in the battery. When the battery is fully charged it will be able to provide an additional 79 bhp in this new version of the Renault Twizy. The KERS boost has been made available as the KERS system will bw able to draw power from the main motor of the car. The top speed of the car is going to be 68 miles per hour at 10,000 rotations per minute. It is going to be good.
