Porsche is ready to roll the next generation 911 Turbo Coupe in the market. A sample of what seemed to be the new model was spotted on the road and experts have confirmed that it could be the latest Porsche Coupe to hit the market. Like the 911 GT3, the Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe will feature a four wheel drive platform with added agility.

The first public showcasing of this 2 + 2 seated vehicle will be made at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September while the new model is expected to hit showrooms across the United Kingdom early next year.
Expected to sport a price tag of £120,000, The Porsche 911 Turbo will challenge the McLaren P13 and both the vehicles share a basic design of using just aluminum for the exterior network, a useful weight saving measure.

Although the Porsche is larger than the McLaren, there is not much difference in overall weight of the vehicles. This is a positive feature which also works in favor of the Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe. Porsche offers an increase in performance with this vehicle. This is the best aspect regarding the vehicle till date apart from the announcement regarding the modified chassis. The long wheelbase has been complimented by using larger trucks and this gives the vehicle increased traction over the surface.

The 911 Turbo Coupe prototype features a clear cut design and Porsche is in no mood to hide the details regarding the exterior of the vehicle. In fact the vehicle speed, did not feature any camouflaged surface. Some of the unique features regarding this Porsche are the front and rear bumper, the new radiator grille, larger air ducts, under door sills, active aerodynamic edge and a complete rear wing that completes the aerodynamics as well as the visual aesthetics of the vehicle.

The cooling ducts next to the engine has been inserted to lower the engine temperature and pressure time and again while the vehicle is in motion and the dual clutch automatic transmission system enhancing the performance of the vehicle. The 911 Turbo Coupe is set to match the power displacement figures of the Turbo S as both vehicles displace close to 530 BHP and close to 530 ft lbs of torque.

The torque vectoring system mated to the four wheel drive platform is another unique feature of this vehicle which enhances performance. Although Porsche has not confirmed details as of yet, the 911 Turbo is expected to match power displacement of the Turbo S in a straight line. This is exciting news as this vehicle has the design and aesthetic value to outsell the Turbo S.

If an increase in power is gained, the Turbo would definitely outsell the S. Porsche claims that the Turbo Coupe is capable of reaching a top speed of 200 MPH while acceleration from 0 – 60 MPH is possible within 3.3 seconds. The new Porsche is an overall better handler and engineers claim that this vehicle is an overall better package.
