Porsche Cayman GT4 With Cargraphic Race: A Loud Red Devil
|   Monday, February 06, 2017
A brand new mastepiece released by Porsche, the Cayman GT4 doesn't have that many significant changes, but the modifications that were made surely make a difference. One of the most important of them is, of course, a Cargraphic exhaust. The vehicle also benefits from a new hardware made of race headers and a race exhaust that my cause a decatted setup (even though it was not officially announced that way).

The middle section of the Zuffenhausen now contains a 3.
-liter flat-six, which is great news for those who like loud cars – this Porsche can howl like no other!

Moving on to the steering wheel of the vehicle, it actually comes from the GT4 Clubsport. This means that the coupe actually has the racecar theme there. The downside of this fact is that there is no longer an airbag for the driver, which means that this wheel innovation may be more polarizing than a violent exhaust. However, let's remember the official Porsche announcement stating that the company is currently working on this aspect. This means that sometime next year we will be able to enjoy the new Cayman GT4 RS.

Among the other small, but significant changes included in this model, there is also the fact that this vehicle has been lowered by 1.2 inches. As we know, every Cayman vehicle has been well-balanced in terms of design and performance; however, the GT4 changed the game thanks to the torque-vectoring system and other components pilfered from the 911 GT3 parts.

With a horsepower of 385, the Cayman GT4 is 45 horses more than the GTS model and 35more than the base 911. However, it's 15 horses lass than the Carrera S – but even so, the numbers are looking good. The vehicle reaches 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, which is the exact same performance as the Cayman GTS has. By the time the car reaches 110 mph, though, it's more than one second faster than the GTS.

Judging by professional reviews, this would be the first member of the Cayman series that can be successfully used instead of a base 911.
