Plans of Luxury car makers in India

Rapid increase in the demand of luxury cars in India has attracted the attention of lot of companies towards it. This is as per the news from auto expo of this year. According to this year auto expo report, around 23 automakers of different countries are going to consider India a sales hub. In India, travelling in luxury cars is considered as a symbol of status. That is why sales of luxury cars have increased in India. For this reason some companies are going to launch their new car models in India soon.


If talk about the Mercedes Benz, history clearly indicates that this is the number one choice of people in India. After launching ML 350 CDI in India earlier this year, company is highly focusing to launch some other models in India soon.

Two days before the launch of this vehicle in India, the company officially announced that it has been designed by keeping all essential factors about India. Basically this car has not available for general public at presently, still the company has booked around 71 models in advance. It will be available in the first week of July. It has been said that company has another plan to launch one more model of same series in India by the end of this year, however it has not officially announced yet.

On other side if talk about BMW, every car lover of India is familiar with these luxury cars. The company has also announced to launch their upper model of series five soon in India. Addressing the media, CEO of BMW in India announced in January this year "Our plan is to offer a luxury car to the Indians at an affordable price. We are soon going to launch BMW X2. I guarantee you that the price of this car is affordable for lot of Indian who just love our cars". He also said that BMW will soon launch its 5 series 523i in India.

Audi is also in the race of launching their new cars in India. The company officially announced in the Auto Expo in capital earlier this year that two new models are ready to launch in India. According to the company, their A5 model, which is a fully fledged technology vehicle, will shortly be available in company showrooms. According to the General Manager of sales and marketing of AUDI in India, the plan of company is to continuously launch their cars one after one in the upcoming years. He recently announced that company has given India one of the most affordable sports cars ("AUDI TT"), and we are soon going to launch another two seated car in India.

Nissan has also recently fallen in Indian car market. In the Auto Expo of this year company announced that they have given Indians lot of car buying options and will continue our efforts in the task. After launching small cars in India, company has a plan to launch their sports car here. The Nissan 370Z will be available for sports cars lovers in July this year, the company has started the booking of this car as well.
