The Paris Motor Show is one of the biggest events of the year in the world of auto shows. One of most important auto show of the year the Paris Motor Show is one huge event that held in October where often many of the Concept Cars and new production vehicle debuts.

From 29th September to 14th October 2012 the Paris Motor Show was held at Paris expo. Among all the vehicle brands the most hit of the show was Peugeot. All the eyes were stuck at the Peugeot 208 R5, 2008 Concept and the 2013 Peugeot RCZ etc.

Even among the Peugeots the 208 R5 kept up to the reputation. In the super mini category the 208 was the strongest contestant. The car became hot favorite because of its high level driver comfort options.
It was built on the PSA PF1 platform weighted 1090 kg and designed by Pierre Authier. But the fact which made it the favorite is its Park Assist System. The parallel parking facility gives the car a boost in driver comfort abilities. The sensor in the car detects the suitable parking space and the Park Assist System automatically takes over the driving wheel. And all this can be activated by just pressing a button in the controlling touch screen. The Peugeot makes the daily life of the driver easier.

Peugeot Sport reviled the 208 type R5 as a successor of the 208 R2. Peugeot hopes the 208 R5 can keep the reputation of its S2000 counterpart the 207. To ensure that the 208 R5 is being put through a race before it hits the market which is expected to be in mid-2013.

The two siblings of 208 R5 was also on display. The 208XY and the 208 GTi, a few months to their commercial launch looked astonishing on the stands of the Paris Motor Show. Both the cars have three doors; build in with 1.6 liter turbo charge engine delivering 200Ps power and 275 Nm torque and a 6 speed manual gear box which can achieve to 0-100 less than 7 seconds.
The other entries for Peugeot were the RCZ and the Onyx supercar.

The Peugeot RCZ, a sports car only in sales since 2010 attracted most of the crowds on the show. At the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show the Peugeot 308 RCZ was announced as a concept car and later at the 2009 Frankfurt Show the RCZ was officially unveiled. The car is a 2 door coupe and is built in with a 1.6 L THP200 turbo charged engine with both manual and automatic 6 speed gear box. It can achieve 0-100 within 7.6 seconds and the top speed is 235 km/h.

Last but not least was the Onyx supercar. Turning all heads the Radical Peugeot Onyx Supercar was the eye catcher of the show.
