One Tenth Better Mileage Offered In the Upcoming Toyota Prius
|   Tuesday, September 03, 2013
Toyota Prius is a car which requires no introduction; it has been the highest mileage gasoline car without a plug this year that is 2013. Before discussing the future, let's talk about what the past says about Toyota Prius, it has been such an amazing car when mileage is concerned that even last year the EPA rating which was 50mpg was matched by just one car and no another car came even close to it. The good news in that it is being promised by the concerned authorities that the upcoming shall even beat the current record that Toyota Prius has set and would give 10 percent better mileage.
The EPA has estimated that this would be a fantasy perfect driving conditions which would allow a drive to make his journeys maximum economical.

Currently when EPA rating are considered, this year it rated Prius Liftback at 51mpg city, regarding highway it was 48mpg while the combined rating touched 50 mark. There is a general perception that EPA ratings are little exaggerated normally and in reality that is not what really happens, therefore when the comments of customers using Toyota Prius currently were taken under consideration, it showed that Prius gets 45-50 miles per gallon in summer and 40-45 in winter. The period you stay out of the accelerator you will get better and it also have averaged as high as between 50 and 55 mpg at many instances. Hence clarifying the fact that the current model surely is best of the lot and the next model that is in pipeline would be even more destructive as that would take the mileage rate to one higher step.

The best part that Toyota Prius which comes out next would offer to its clients is that when the car is made to accelerate lightly when it is on electric mode, it would allow the driver to exceed even the 60mpg mark, hence the fuel it would offer delivery shall be the best fuel economy that can be bought. Normally the mileage is seen to drop into 30s, when carrying heavy loads etc. In Toyota Prius this is not, as there is a presence of Hybrid Synergy Drive system, this system would make the car be even more effective to such an extent that after getting a proper grip over it, the car could average between 45 to 50mpg.

This upcoming model will be very helpful especially for drivers of cabs i.e. Prius Cabs, as it would make this job even more economical. The other element that this car would have that will allow even better mileage includes "Energy display". This is because the driver then would be prompted to read changes in the display and would be able to manage a proper way to get maximum mileage out of it.

Toyota Prius has always tried to give its customers maximum relaxation and comfort and it vows to continue that even in future when they launch their next model. Wait and watch what will going to happen in the international market.
