Officially ruled out by Mazda CEO a rotary powered sports car
|   Wednesday, November 19, 2014
Masamichi Kogai the CEO of Mazda, ruled out officially for the car makers based on Hiroshima a powered rotary engine RX .The official hints and numerous reports were given that Mazda as sports car with rotary engine will get launch to celebrate its 50th anniversary during the year 2017 or else on 2020 during its own centenary.

In Automotive News chat, Kogai said that "There is no plan for future product with such kind of model vehicle". According to him, being the small mainstream vehicle maker, if segment numbers are been increased then for truly developing a good products will not be conducted as due to the resources will get declined which is been allocated to every single segment.

As from Kogai's point of view: During 31st March 2014, the year end for financial records, company recorded $1.7 billion a profit record where it sold cars just 1.1 million rounding up 61.000 over previous year of financial records. Perhaps, it does seem to have an impressive figure compared to Toyota where it sold cars within 9.1 million making a profit record of $23 billion.

Inspite of sticking to a halo car, the CEO Kogai wanted to maintain its company to focus on the core vehicle range. He says, "The financial structure of the company is yet still on its improving process and for now it only wants to keep focus on current Skyactiv products limited resources".

The CEO further mentioned that at the moment Mazda has an indigenous small line-up of cars with 2,3,5,6 and MPV which in Asian countries were sold as 8, also the CX-5, CX-9, MX-5 and Ford co-developed a utility vehicle BT-50. Although, when based on small SUV's debuts of Mazda 2 and CX-3 in the month end of November 2014 at LA Motor Show, these families will then start growing.

However, as the company for its new technologies it needs to invest on them most probably for its drivetrain where however it seems a limited means for doing so, it seems that for both Mazda CEO and also for Mazda it will prove tough years ahead in balancing those acts. Kogai said, "It will not be so easy, but still new technologies needed so as to reduce the costs and get deployed over all across board."

Moreover, company is being working reportedly on monitoring the job just like the motors to as Skyactiv range. Hence, from the Skyactiv-2 that has been hesitantly dubbed and also compression ignition homogeneous charge utilized thus that new engines meant to be targeting by engineers to gain perform of 30% more efficiently and said to get debut as soon as possible earlier till the 2020.

There have been limited electrification production forays for Mazda similar to its rivals, even though in making of electric cars inspite of loss can afford to do investment or also performing hydrogen fuel-cells experiment. Even though export vehicles features with automatic start-stop engine and also regenerative braking, hybrid, Mazda 3 in domestic market uses Toyota licensed technology.
