Nobel Showcases the M600 Convertible in UK
|   Saturday, June 15, 2013
Nobel Automobile has showcased the first spy shots of the much awaited Nobel M600 convertible. Although the company has not specified the name, experts claim that it is most likely the convertible. Nobel has released this image to gauge public opinions and take hints at improving the design. The design of the vehicle was previously showcased in June 2012 for the same reason.

Although Nobel is yet to design and manufacture a prototype of the M600 convertible, company boss Peter Boutwood says that this project is quite feasible and should be converted into reality.
The mechanical components and specification of this vehicle has not been revealed, although the Nobel claims that planning is underway and the fanatics will soon get to catch a glimpse of the wonderful machine that they had waited to see.

The roofline of the Nobel M600 convertible will be composed of carbon fiber and this gives it strength while making it lightweight. This removable piece of body structure can be tucked away carefully under the engine compartment and this means that the passengers do not have to compromise on interior space. Removal of the roof will not however have any adverse effects on the handling of the vehicle and Nobel is quite confident about this claim.

Experts believe that the Nobel M600 Convertible could feature a 4.4 liter Bi turbo V8 engine displacing 650 BHP along with 604 ft lbs of torque. The vehicle is based on a rear wheel drive platform while the engine is mated to a manual six speed transmission system. The M600 convertible is based on an aluminum chassis which makes it light weight as well as maneuverable.

The total weight of this vehicle is 1198 kg while the powerful V8 accelerates this vehicle from 0 – 120 MPH within 8.9 seconds. Nobel is planning on pricing this vehicle close to £230,000 while the company claims that close to 15 units of the M600 convertible will be manufactured every year. This is exciting news for the convertible market as the major players are set to receive stiff competition from a worthy rival. An expected launch date is yet to be announced.
