Nissan Launches the Ultimate Cruising Hatch Back - the Juke Nismo
|   Tuesday, April 16, 2013
The Nissan Juke Nismo has finally landed in the European market and the United Kingdom is the first nation to witness the car in private. This vehicle can truly be called a potential hatch back due to its dedicated performance, comfort level and design. The vehicle is priced at £20,000 and is the perfect family car. However, acceleration and overall performance of this car is quite awesome considering the fact that it is a hatch back and as a result it could be hugely popular with the performance freaks as well.

Claiming a top speed of 134 MPH, the Nissan Juke Nismo can accelerate from 0 – 60 MPH within 7.8 seconds. The vehicle is powered by a 1.6 liter petro engine displacing 197 BHP. The Juke Nismo costs a few notches above a standard Peugeot 208 GTI or a Ford Fiesta but the extra money is worth the extra features available in the car.

Nissan is also offering a four wheel drive platform for the car while the engine is mated to a manual six speed CVT transmission system. The engine packs in a decent amount of power and the hard hitting capability of the motor is identified just as the pedal is floored. The car begs to be pushed and this is a property lacking in most hatch backs of today.

Nissan being a sports franchise does not disappoint with the Juke Nismo as well. The vehicle has a muscular feel to it and this is the characteristic property which distinguishes the Juke Nismo form its competitors. The suspension setting and damper adjustment shave been done accordingly as well and this enhances the handling and comfort level of the car.

The Juke Nismo is basically a tall hatch back and Nissan has added an anti roll cage to increase the safety of the car. The Juke Nismo refuses to give up at sharp corners and this is a positive aspect of the vehicle. The sophistication of the chassis also plays an important part in enhancing the vehicle. The steering is quite responsive and smooth while the torque is balanced which results in perfect handling.

Although the Nissan Juke Nismo has all the quality characteristics that are needed in the perfect hatch back. However, this vehicle cannot act as an alternative to performance hatch backs in the market. The Juke Nismo is not a complete hot hatch and this needs to be kept in mind while opting for this car. It does not sport the GTI tag but performance levels are close.

The handling aspect of this car however needs special mention as Nissan has gone to great lengths to modify the performance aspect of this vehicle. It is a true handler and performance wise it is the best sports car in the family segment. Interior space is high and the cabin is quite comfortable. This car can be used for long rides or highway cruising and the power displacement will never let you down. Nissan has designed the ultimate cruising hatch back.
