Nissan Confirms Plans to Unveil Smaller Z Variant
|   Thursday, January 23, 2014
Nissan confirms plans to launch a smaller Z car in the near future. Their iconic 350Z and 370Z made huge impact across world markets with their launch so far, although time has come for the Japanese car makers to try and penetrate other markets with smaller products. The vehicles will be powered by a smaller four cylindered turbo charged engine, although basic characters will stay on all future models.

However, major changes are planned as Design Boss Shiro Nakamura says that they cannot work with a single principle for long.
However, a next generation Z model is in the pipelines, even though it could need some time. A Z series variant is always based on performance. Hence, Nismo will come up with a performance variant soon, as they are keen on this idea and are prepared to work on it.

Nissan had previous talked about designing a replacement vehicle for their current generation GT-R, although its mean design and performance will be retained nonetheless. This is actually a treat for performance fans around the globe, as Nissan along with Nismo have made quite an impression together. The GT-R is capable of taking on the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG and Lamborghini Aventador head on, although it is based on a lower price range.

It is a tough competition for Major European and American brands and this is exactly what makes it special. Z has a very important place within Nissan. Hence, they are working diligently on revealing a product, capable of bearing its tag. The recently unveiled IDx concept has stirred up global markets, while people love its exterior styling and possible performance options. They are based on design elements lifted off the 70s and 80s, although with a modern twist.

The IDx and Blade Glider were designed to preview Nissan's future design elements and were clearly impressed with what was on offer. These were originally designed to reignite passion among youngsters in Japan, as Nissan has a mass following in its country of origin. America also plays a major part in exports, while Nissan is looking at potential markets for expansion.
