News for the New 2013 GT3 RS
|   Wednesday, May 30, 2012
The new generation in the Porsche 911 series called 991 has recently entered the scene. It is being termed as the best car to be bought this year because it is really awesome. However, its base has been taken from the Carrera. On the other hand, the GT3 and Turbo versions are yet to come.

As compared with the photos of the 991 GT3 model's first look in December 2011, the photos that have been recently spotted show that the car is about to be completed.
Moreover, the photos this time were more obvious as nothing was hidden. When spotted at the Nordschleife track, the car looked compatible, stylish and fully composed.

The new generation GT3 will be available for sale in the beginning of the year 2013. Its formula will be similar to the current GT3 model but some changes in the specifications will be made which have not been clearly told yet. There will be significant changes in the weight of the car and it has been expected that it will be lighter than the previous models. Weight has been saved excluding some materials and making the car less equipped.

Other than the weight, the performance of the car will also be improved. A 3.8 liter flat 6 engine will be powering the vehicle. The current GT3's powertrain was 450 horsepower and its total weight is about three thousand pounds. On the other hand, the new 2013 GT3 model will have a better powertrain and it will certainly be leading the previous ones in performance.

We can judge a lot about the new 2013 GT3 RS car by seeing the photos that were taken recently. From the photos, it was clear that the front bumper was large, there were dual exhaust pipes, the front side also had a lip spoiler and all these things were ahead than the current model. The front area of the cargo had a carved duct thin in size. It is a new addition in the looks of the car.

As the duct is related to the cooling, it is expected that the new duct will be ensuring a better cooling than the current model.
Those people who are waiting for the new 2013 GT3 RS model to come in the markets must held their breath because Porsche is up to something that will certainly be surprising for many of the car lovers. We can see it already from the photos of the car.

Like all other GT3 models, the new 2013 GT3 RS will also have only a single gearbox. The engineers working for Porsche are looking forward to completely get rid of the manual transmission by replacing it with the 7-speed dual clutch system.

People no doubt have a lot of expectations from Porsche and they believe that they will be surprised this time too once the new 2013 GTS RS will be available in the showrooms for sale. Just like the 2012 Carrera, we sure want the new GT3 to be satisfying our hunger!
