New Suzuki Celerio city car will have no three-star crash test score
|   Friday, November 21, 2014
The next Suzuki city car Celerio in 2015 first quarter to replace its Indian-made Alto won't seem to come in test score with three-star crash of version as tested currently by the Euro NCAR. Japanese brand release statement that new Celerio side curtain fitted airbags are the reason to score low as they are not meant standard in the Europe. Also, it does have rear seatbelt alert system fitted.

Andrew Moore general manager of Suzuki Australia said, even though current Alto's ANCAP four-star crash score, this new Celerio will come-up with competitive segment safety feature.
However, for Suzuki Australia the safety of vehicle is the first priority and always been ensured to Australian customers our vehicle for segments fits with highest safety features as like Swift with seven-airbags.

However, new Celerio is powered with three-cylinder 1.0 liter petrol engine that develops 50kW and produces 90Nm. It's a five-seat hatch and will be joining all-new second Suzuki in 2015 later with new compact SUV Suzuki Vitara.
