New Porsche 911 Facelifted to be launched in 2015
|   Sunday, November 23, 2014
The Porsche motors have built a new Facelifted 911 and have announced officially to launch it in the motor show, Frankfurt, with newly designed engines. So before the introduction of new generation during 2018, this major overhaul will be introduced.

The most highlighted changes will appear at its engines which have been updated heavily. Otherwise it is mostly a revised edition of 911. The engine will contain turbo charged and six cylinders and engines will be placed horizontally with natural aspirated units.

It will have 3.0 liters capacity, tax sensitive China threshold and few other countries too. This new engine will approximately increase the power to 15 BHP in comparison to today's unit of 3.4 liter making it about 365 BHP. The Carrera S 991 gets a similar rise of 15 BHP making it about 415 BHP. Its style has been changed with front bumper, bigger air ducts to improve cooling system and a slim LED helps displaying better.

A new multimedia set of systems has been seen to be fitted in the face lifted Cayenne. The four opposed cylinders based engines are currently placed horizontally but this is under development currently. This concept will be first seen in another two upcoming models Cayman and Boxster and both of them are face lifted.

The final plan for 911 series' new 911 has not been sanctioned still yet but they are discussing for its successor model probably before 2018 ends. It is expected that this model will be priced around $114,200, but this is just a tentative price. Final price will be declared officially later.

Few purists criticized about Porsche for making products such as Panamera Cayenne and recently revealed Macan, making statement that the company dilutes what could a truly sport car into spirit of brand. There are four new updates of 911 and all of them have GTS badges at their rumps. So Porsche have 19 different versions of only 911.

With the previous generation, company had released a GTS version based 911 not so long before. This new model seeks to gain the place of an average model which would be in between a standard model and hardcore fighter. Currently this facility is available in the cabriolet forms and coupe with either a rear drive or with all wheeled drive.

Its starting price excludes the extra amount of $995 for destination. The Cabriolet GTS is available at $126,000 whereas the AWD facility equipped models will cost $120,900 to $132,800 for coupe and for convertible respectively.

Porsche never compromised the quality and power for its models especially for all the GTS models. They have 430 HP Carrera 3.8 liter flat six power kits, Sport Chrono pack and also a sport exhaust. At any time the PDK based dual clutch can be used for better control. This 911 has the ability to reach 60 miles/ hour within only 4 seconds or 3.8 seconds to be exact in case a Cabriolet is there. The car can reach a top speed of 190 miles per hour at any road condition.
