Mitsubishi Plans a Limited Edition Lancer Evolution X for European Markets

A Limited Edition Mitsubishi lancer Evolution X in on its way across showrooms and this is part of the firm's 40th Anniversary celebrations in Europe. This Limited Edition vehicle features a remapped ECU, as part of its standard kit and is powered by a four cylindered engine, displacing 440 BHP, along with 412 ft lb of torque and a 2.0 liter turbo charged engine. It's a dual clutch six speed transmission system, while performance enhancers include motorsport grade fuel injectors; inter coolers, new exhaust system, air intakes, new tubular manifold and sports brakes.


This vehicle features a lowered suspension on both front and rear ends, while 18 inch sports rims have been installed as standard. Xenon headlamps along with Satellite Navigation, music streaming and a seven inch touch screen device along with Bluetooth and USB connectivity have been provided as standard. A Climate Control system has also been added, along with a special data recorder.

This is in charge of storing information, for future reference. Hence, the Evolution X actually stores your driver data and works accordingly the next time you drive. Recaro bucket seats are an excellent addition, while a much advance seven inch touch screen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity and live screening, takes care of your in cabin requirements. Mitsubishi is providing a three year data subscription package as part of a special package, while fitment quality is guaranteed.

Mitsubishi UK is gearing up to launch this Limited Edition variant on full force and we are waiting eagerly to get our hands on one such creation. The Lancer Evolution was always a part of a special driver's package and we expect this vehicle to feature similar traits. Additional power displacement is to be looked forward to and we expect a significant improvement in throttle response and handling as well.

This is news for the car fanatics, as Mitsubishi has never disappointed with their Lancer Evolution models. The Evo X in particular holds a special spot in our hearts. We are not sure of the total production numbers calculated by Mitsubishi so far, although announcements are expected soon.

It is also a collector's edition car and is hence expected to run out of stock even before being available at showrooms.
