Mini and Aston Martin Get Busy With Their Concepts

Mini has just revealed the latest Volkswagen Campervan styled retro vehicles in its lineup. The Countryman and the Clubvan Campers are the latest addition to the group and these vehicles are complete with all the necessary details required for a trip such as larger storage space, bigger sun roof, Satellite Navigation, auxiliary heater along with a built in television set.

The Countryman provides a larger interior space along with a tent storage capacity.
This Camp according to Mini can be fitted on either the Clubman or any standard Mini. The tent is easily folded and can be stored on the space above the vehicle. Inside the caravan there are two completely stocked kitchenettes along with dual as stoves. Additional hand held showers are present along with a water tank, which is stored carefully beneath the vehicle.

The campervan is attachable and can be taken on most expeditions. The overall weight of the campervan is less than 300 kg and makes for an excellent travel partner in case you want to pint your tent outside to spend a night under the starry sky. However, Mini has announced that neither of these campervans is for mass production. They are simply concepts and the company wants to keep it that way at least for the time being.

Aston Martin has just confirmed that the highly awaited vantage Volante will be making its official debut at the Pebble Beach Auto Week in California next month. This is a highly anticipated event as many new vehicles are lined up for launch. Aston Martin claims that the Vantage Volante will sport a price tag of £200,000 and will make an official debut fall 2015, along with the V12 CC100 Speedster and the Vantage S.

All of these vehicles are highly anticipated, especially the CC100 Speedster. The vehicle is currently in its concept stages although Aston Martin has confirmed plans to launch this vehicle within the next two years. The Vantage Volante is quite a powerful vehicle and will accelerate from 0 – 60 MPH well within 4.5 seconds. This vehicle is based on the fourth generation VH platform from Aston Martin and sports a top speed of 180 MPH.

The 2015 Aston Martin Vantage V12 will make its official debut in the United States this September. This vehicle draws power from a 6.0 liter V12 engine displacing 565 BHP while the vehicle can accelerate from 0 - 60 MPH within 3.7 seconds. The vehicle is based on a rear wheel drive train which enhances the sportier side of things.

This engine displaces 457 ft lb of torque while being mated to the Aston Martin Sportshift III automated transmission system. Pebble Beach is one of the moist anticipated vehicle shows of the year and this year promises to be all the more exciting for the positive reasons. The event is expected to commence on the 14th of August and will continue till the 18th. Entry is strictly by invitation and this is one of the most elegant auto shows of the year.
