Mercedes Benz unveils plans to launch the new G Class vehicles in the UK

Mercedes Benz has finally announced the new G Class vehicles that are set to go into production from early September. The series is designed keeping the UK market in mind and the car has been designed for maximum comfort. The car is packed with safety measures and performance wise it is a marvel.

The price range starts from 82,945 Pounds for the base G model, the G 350 BlueTEC and the car has increased luxury features like an all new LED daytime running light.
The interiors have been reworked and the G class is the first in line to sport COMAND online.

Parktronic is another standard feature on and G class vehicles and this is an advanced parking sensor which uses both audio visual ranging to help the driver park the vehicle. The car features standard leather upholstery for the front and the rear seats and the rim used as standard is the 18 inch five spoke alloy with heated mirrors and electric folding.

The instrument cluster has been worked on and the car features a bright color display monitor and powerful Harman Cardon Logic 8 surround sound audio installment with a special noise cancellation device.

The cabin is complete with an electromagnetic pulse inductor which reduces engine noise levels in the cabin when the detected noise level exceeds the permissible limit. The car is powered by a 3 L V6 BlueTEC engine which produces massive 211 HP with fuel consumption and emission levels equal to 25.2 miles per gallon and 295 g/km respectively.

The next vehicle in the G class lineup is the all new G 63 AMG which is priced at around 123,115 Pounds. The car is powered by a twin turbo 5.6 L V8 AMG delivering 544 HP and 660 Nm torque. The car features 37 HP more than the base G class model and has 60 Nm torque more than the G 350.
The fuel consumption of the G 63 AMG is near 20.5 miles per gallon and emission level is close to 322 g/km. The 63 is the only AMG in the G class line up and the only external features which distinguishes the AMG from other vehicles in the lineup, is the black AMG radiator grille along with the twin chrome fittings with a back mesh grille.

The wheel base is done up in the body color and this lends a professional feel to the AMG. The G 63 also features a set of AMG sports exhaust system with twin chrome tail pipes and a 20 inch five spoke alloyed rim with titanium finish.

The car features a new styled leather finish dashboard with leather used around the steering wheel for optimum comfort. The AMG features complete stainless steel door handles and an additional external chrome package as standard on the vehicles.

The G 63 AMG is performance centric and every G class vehicle is fitted with advanced Electronic traction control system to make the ride safer. The cars also feature differential locks which help the vehicle drive off road.
