Mercedes Benz S Class Coupe Seen Testing Before Salon Prive 2013
|   Tuesday, June 11, 2013
The latest images of the new Mercedes Benz S Class Coupe testing on road have surfaced and these images showcase what the next generation S Class could resemble. The S Class Coupe will rival the all new Bentley Continental GT. Mercedes Benz is aiming at a new lineup of vehicles and the designing of is more aggressive as compared to its predecessor. The latest images show that the Coupe has not been extensively camouflaged and this as a result showcases most of the design aspects of the vehicle.
The two door design of the S Class has been replaced by the CL and the latest spy images showcase a short glass house design of the vehicle.

LED lamps have been added to the front and rear of the vehicle and the less designed and disguised form of the car gives a very prominent idea of what the car looks like. The wheel arch has been specifically designed for this vehicle and this is unlike any vehicle from Mercedes Benz. The rear seat accommodates passengers and luggage quite efficiently and this is owing to the sloped roof line at the rear. The chassis also supports an elongated frame and this translates to an overall greater volume.

Two door coupe designs are very popular at Mercedes Benz and the new S Class Coupe will also be a huge hit among the customers, Mercedes Benz officials feel. A convertible lineup will be formed based on the Coupe design and this could feature a sporty chassis featuring an extra long wheel base. Although an official launch date or pricing have not been revealed, Mercedes Benz officials hint that the Coupe could be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2015.

Salon Prive 2013 is expected to showcase 10 absolutely new vehicles. This will be a new record in the UK as all vehicles are expected to make an official debut sometime in the near future. The British Super Car Show this year features exhibits from various design houses such as Clark Abel, Futura Design, Zagato, Vencer and Spyker. Some of the participating car making giants includes Maserati, Bentley, McLaren, Startech and Rolls Royce.

This was the biggest show in the history of the event and the list of judges includes Andrea Zagato, Murray Walker and Derek Bell. A total of 11 classes will be present this year while special mention will be made of Porsche, Lamborghini and Aston Martin. Some of the hyper cars to be showcased at the event include the Pagani Huayra, Koenigsegg Agera R, SSC Aero GT and the Ruf CT3 S.

Proto types from Alfa Romeo, Ford and Spyker will also be showcased at the event and this surely points out why this is the biggest show in the history of the United Kingdom. Some of the best four wheeled creations will be showcased at the event this year and the Concour d'elegance could also feature some of the designs showcased here later on during the course of the event.
