Meet the Killer Volkswagen Beetle GRC
|   Wednesday, June 25, 2014
When you think of a Beetle, you think of something small, cute and harmless. Tell that to the Volkswagen Beetle GRC. This vehicle features the best of modern technology, cramped under its small hood, which helps it accelerate from 0 – 60 MPH within 2.1 seconds.

This rallycross bug draws power from a turbocharged 1.6 liter petrol engine, displacing a mammoth 544 BHP. Numerous additions have been made to a standard Beetle, creating this monster.
Additional skid plates, a reworked suspension system, sequential six speed transmission system and limited slip differential on both front and rear ends.

These are some of the dream products for rally cross racers and enthusiasts and Volkswagen has gone through a lot, to ensure that they leave no stone unturned. If you are looking for a comparison, let's give you the big picture. This Beetle is quicker than an Ariel Atom 500, LaFerrari and McLaren P1.
