The new 2013 McLaren MP4 – 12 C is finally set to be launched and has been showcased in the recently concluded Good Wood Festival of Speed. The new MP4 – 12 C is designed on the 2012 McLaren Formula One car and hence is an advanced, street legal super sports car.

Jenson Button, the Vodafone McLaren Formula One racer unveiled the car and took it for a spin around the test track at the Festival of Speed. McLaren GT also unveiled the new McLaren 12 C GT3, a prototype.

These new launches highlight the GREAT campaign undertaken by the British crown and the media to highlight Great Britain as a leading car manufacturing country. Another aim of the campaign was to restore Great Britain's image as a world leader in terms of economy, education, trade and tourism.

In 2010, McLaren launched the 12C and it was welcomed amidst loud cheers. This year at the launch of the 12C GT3, McLaren received the same warm welcome. For the third consecutive year, McLaren launched super sports cars at different auto expos and hence, it is slowly regaining its position as a world leader in sports vehicles. The 12C GT3 is a breathtaking innovation from McLaren and is expected to do well in terms of sale.

The highlighted features of the 12 C GT3 are the new advanced engine producing 625 PS, new drive train features like an advanced gearshift and throttle management feature and an external style package.

The highlighted external feature of the 12 C GT3 is the new bright yellow paint scheme, new interior trim and upholstery, semi aniline perforated, dual tone leather seats and an advanced diamond cut finish, for the rim.
The car introduced at the Good Wood Festival of Speed features a bright red and blue, Michelin sponsored Super sports car. Motorsports addicts had a treat for their eyes at the McLaren group's pavilion and the cars did not disappoint.

McLaren group is synonymous with racing and the group has produced many super sports cars in the past. Hence, the racing heritage of the company has been instilled in the McLaren MP4 – 12 C GT3.

The 12 C GT3 is a compact car and sports advanced drive train features like an advanced 6 speed automatic transmission, independent front and rear suspension. The suspension has been tweaked to enable the car to attack corners with ease and hence this car is stupendous on the track.
The rear spoiler of the car helps the car remain grounded at high speeds and this car is phenomenal on the street. It functions smoothly as low revs and engine displaces a smooth torque even at high speeds. The car is a beast and holding it back can be troublesome.

The initial response to the launch of the McLaren MP4 12 C GT3 has been phenomenal and as a result McLaren is looking forward to sales. The price of the car is classified and can be received only by request. Actual sales figures are however left to be seen.
