Mazda3 Leads the Race of Top Ten Selling Cars List
|   Monday, April 08, 2013
Mazda3 which is also known as the Mazda Axela in Japan, manufactured by Mazda Motor Corporation has taken the number one spot is most selling cars in 2013.In April 2013, VFACTS released the list of top selling cars for the month of March, which took everybody by surprise since the very dominant model Holden Commodore was out sold by Nissan Pulsar to hold the last spot of the top ten best sellers list.

Mazda has kept its reputation still yet which is proved by its highly sold three top cars.
Almost 3800 units of Mazda models are sold in March to cement the place of the most favorite car of the month. Overall sale of the vehicles is announced to be 97,400 which are a little less than the previous year. But in March, more visitors and buyers visited the car showrooms than February which resulted in the increment of sales by 5 percent. However, in March, the sale of the passenger cars reduced to five percent as compared to the sale in February as announced by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries.

In overall consideration, the market is ahead by five percent in vehicle selling than that of last year and as predicted by FCAI the sale number is likely to touch or even cross the record of 1.12 million. Toyota still remains the highest selling brand with the share of 19 percent of the whole sales of the market for the month of March. Mazda has been a strong contender but still far from Toyota and at the time it is placed at second spot having 9.4 percent shares. Lion badge is following Mazda and currently shares 8.5 percent of the total sale.

Nissan, Ford and Hyundai all got better in the race from Mitsubishi and Volkswagen along with Honda have gone ahead of Subaru in March. Large cars nightmares are getting even more horrific. That's why Ford Falcon lost 35 percent sales and managed to sale only 831 numbers of vehicles. However the others are coming ahead of it such as Mercedes Benz's C Class which is a compact luxury car, Jeep's Grand Cherokee and Volkswagen Tiguan.

Holden's VE Commodore managed to sale only 1606 units till the end of March which was a big surprise. Surprise because previous month it sold 40 percent more than this month. But that was not the case when Toyota's Aurion is concerned. Aurion sale got promoted to almost two third of the previous month and to be exact 498 units but it had an even better time in last year selling at a lot more rate than this year.

Though the locally made cars are down to thirty percent than the previous price still the demand is more for outer cars. In March, total nineteen more vehicles are added which are electric and five of them had made their way to the private customers' usage. Rest fourteen cars are built for government and business utilizations. Private users are demanding more for hybrid technological vehicles.
