Mazda Showcases Four Concepts at SEMA
|   Thursday, November 07, 2013
Mazda has showcased four concept models based on its motor sport technologies at the SEMA show is Las Vegas. Of the four concepts, three are based on Mazda's latest 3 while the other one is based on The Mazda 6. However, all these vehicles have been designed in a highly aggressive tone which lends character to the machines. Mazda has opted for an abrasive design language for its machines and this is quite evident in its latest creations.

Two Club Sports concept have been showcased at the event while both the Mazda 3 and 6 feature revised bodywork and new paint job.
Club Sport Concept 6 is powered by a 2.2 liter Sky Active propelled diesel engine displacing 170 BHP along with 310 ft lbs of torque and this is a refined and well tested engine as it has already been put to good use in American markets in current models.

Extreme aerodynamics have been used on its exterior and this makes these vehicles extremely sporty yet street legal. If Mazda seriously considers bringing these vehicles on road we are sure to have a gala time behind the wheels of each of these monstrous beauties. Its new body kit includes new side and front panels while 20 inch sports bespoke rims are a class apart.

These enhance general appeal of this vehicle while standard performance parts such as its customizable suspension and adaptive dampers are a boon on this ride. Not just do they enhance comfort but also reduce ride height and provide composed body balance. Mazda has gone a step ahead and added racing brakes to this ride. This as a result imparts confidence while driving.

Club Sport 3 features similar technical specifications while additional components and features have been added to it such as robust design features along with a bespoke and well sculpted exterior. Mazda is working to provide some of these aerodynamic attachments on current models of the Mazda 3 and 6 saloons and this has sparked rumors in global markets. Mazda's latest Club Sport 3 is powered by a range of engines, primary of which is the 2.5 liter Sky Active G petrol.
Every model features a six speed manual transmission system and a seven speed automated transmission depending upon user's choice and requirements.

Standard 20 inch rims have been provided on all variants of the concept. Interior trims have been revealed as well and we have standard red leather trim along with black optional trim levels on this vehicle Details regarding interior components are yet to be revealed although we expect Mazda to come out with detail soon.

We are getting various reports of unveils at SEMA although all of these are concepts. We surely hope to catch up with some real action and see these vehicles in actual production. Some of these concepts have potential and the respective companies should consider bringing them to production. We are keeping track of every development surrounding SEMA and hope to bring you details as they are revealed.
