Maruti Suzuki Looking Forward to Replacing SX4 with Ciaz
|   Tuesday, May 13, 2014
Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch its much awaited Ciaz sedan in India this year. We expect a formal launch by September, as it is best suited to catch up to pre festive hype. The Ciaz will be replacing Maruti Suzuki's non performing SX4, which seems to have run out of luck in the sub continent.

Maruti Suzuki showcased their Ciaz at New Delhi Auto Expo this year and is based on their Concept vehicle that was showcased back at Shanghai in 2013.
This vehicle competes with Honda's City, Volkswagen Vento and Hyundai's Verna in class and should be priced within Rs. 7.2 to Rs. 10.5 Lacs.

Maruti Suzuki is using its range of 1.2 liters to 1.4 liter petrol engines that have been used underneath their Ertiga for some time. This is a tried and tested drive train and should hence pay off well for the company.
