List of Top Vehicles Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show

The Geneva Motor Show is an important event ion the motoring world and the event this year was no different. This year saw a list of new entrants in the field of technology and new designs and futuristic concept cars were abundant this year. Ferrari replaced the Enzo with the LaFerrari and this vehicle has been completely designed in house. Power comes from a 6.2 liter V12 engine with electronic assistance from the HY KERS system.

Ferrari plans on building 499 LaFerrari models priced at £1 Million each and rumors say that the lot is almost sold out.
Rolls Royce has used the Wraith tag on a vehicle for the first time since 1938. The Wraith coupe is loosely based on the Ghost while featuring many additional features. The engine displaces 642 BHP while the vehicle is expected to cost £215,000 when it launches later this year.

The Lamborghini Veneno has also been showcased and this is expected to be a street legal super car. The Veneno is based on the Aventador and each vehicle is expected to cost €3 million. The body work has been enhanced and this increases down force, hence improving acceleration and overall performance. The aerodynamic advantage gives the Veneno a top speed of 221 MPH.

Porsche has also unveiled the 911 GT at Geneva and this is based on the 991 platform. The vehicle is powered by a 3.8 liter displacing 468 BHP, lifted off the Porsche 911 Carrera S. The engine performs best at the 9000 RPM and the vehicle features four wheel drives. The Alfa Romeo 4C was also showcased this year after being showcased as a concept vehicle two years ago.

The Launch Edition of the 4C is powered by a 1750 TBI displacing 237 BHP and priced at €60,000. This is rear wheel drive sports car and features a centrally placed engine. The McLaren P1 was showcased at Paris last year and the production version was revealed this year. McLaren plans on designing just 375 models of the P1, priced at £866,000 each while the engineering marvel allows the vehicle to produce a down force of 600 kg.

Kia plans on rivaling the Mini with the newly launched Kia Provo. The vehicle is powered by a 1.6 liter turbo charged engine displacing 201 BHP. The petrol drive train is assisted by an electric motor while the external design of the vehicle is inspired from the designing of the 1950s / 60s.

Bentley showcased the latest version of the Flying Spur sedan in Geneva. This vehicle is an updated form of the Continental GT and displaces 616 BHP. The vehicle is priced at £135,000 while the weight has been reduced by 50 kg. Honda has also showcased the latest Civic Estate – the Civic Tourer. The styling is nothing exceptional, but this vehicle is an amazing piece of engineering. These are a few vehicles that have been revealed this year. With a lot of events lined up for the remaining part of the year, 2013 is expected to be a huge hit for the car lovers.
