List of top luxury vehicles unveiled at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show

The Detroit Auto Show showcased a host of top end vehicles for people across all segments of society. Everything from SUVs to hatchbacks was showcased at the event and the people had a lot on their platter to choose from. While economy rides from Lincoln was the star attraction, big players such as BMW, Mercedes Benz, Rolls Royce and Audi also had a fair share at the event.

The seven seated Lincoln MKC SUV is the second model from the company and Lincoln plans on unveiling new models within the next two years.
Lincoln is aiming at newer technologies and customers car get the perfect balance between luxury, comfort and performance with the MKC. The all new Lexus IS is a head turner and this vehicle has been designed intricately to outperform its predecessor.

The IS is expected to be in direct competition to the BMW 3 Series. However this claim is yet to be tested. The Hyundai HCD 14 Genesis also promises to be a hit in the luxury segment and with this vehicle, Hyundai plans on completely changing the way in which people view the brand. The vehicle has been designed differently from any vehicle from Hyundai in the past and the exterior has been totally face lifted.

The all new Audi SQ5 is also a luxury car that needs full credit for style, performance and value. The 3.0 liter V6 petrol engine on the vehicle displaces 346 ft lb of torque along with 349 BHP and this makes it a small but mean machine. The added power to weight advantage makes this car practical and pure value for money. The tighter suspension and loss in height also enables this car to reach the 60 MPH mark below 5.3 seconds.

The Mercedes Benz CLA has been tagged as the best looking Mercedes Benz on the road today. This vehicle features an all new exterior design based on the company's new policy and designing strategy. Mercedes Benz was stuck with a designing blackout since the past decade and this face lift has been welcomed across all sections of the society.

The Tesla Model X is another masterpiece unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. The vehicle is probably the world's first fully operational electric powered seven seated SUV. However, the dimensions of this vehicle are too large and it could be problematic to drive in and around the city. Infinity has showcased the Q50 and this vehicle is a spitting example of what a luxury car should be like. It is based on an extrovert design and is quite muscular. It leaves nothing to imagination and has been placed between the niche and the base market, hence making it more desirable.

Mercedes Benz has planned a new exterior trim for the E Class vehicles and the first vehicle to roll out from the stables is the E63 AMG. The vehicle has been fine tuned and designed by the AMG division and needless to say it is a maniac on the road.
